“Wash cast iron with water”. Next frame its the same manifold but rusty 😂yea, how well will that bond on that? just quit that silly branded degreaser that needs a water wash and use plain ol’ solvents?

It is normal for it to flash rust. The cleaner works extremely well with far less hazard then solvent and is design to work with the Metal Prep. The Metal prep etching leaves zinc phosphates while it neutralizes the surface. The High Temp coating adheres to the surface rust very well, and when it is baked it is very hard and UV resistant.
