Well done Jimmy you saved the day for me❤. A previous video about a 1.5d connect van. Parts cannon with 3 trips to the dealer. DPF,regens and correlation issues, no power! You should of shown how you reset the dpf data because on them you got to regen them to reset it if the dpf light is on dash

Where did you get your steel end from. The plastic one that comes with it is terrible.. Just did a kuga had 1000 millibars, manged to get it down to 400. More fluid needed me thinks

Audi Q7 or VW Touareg… I’ve had the other week in a 4.2 TDI Porsche Cayenne with 2 DPF’s bank 1 and 2. it was a temp sensor which caused DPF soot level to increase. After EGT sensor was replaced checked the pressure and was not blocked at all. Just reset and grand since then… don’t be fooled by soot or ash level as that’s just a calculated number by the ECU…why you flushed this out mate? With that pressure would not trigger these faults. This was due to the faulty DPF pressure sensor … as you know

I will take a wild guess and say the pressure at idle and a with revs on was too high for what it should be. Cleaning it brought the pressure down to an acceptable level. That's my take on it may be I'm wrong

IIRC, he prefers cleaning when there's a chance of high amount of soot. As burning off a lot at once can sometimes overheat and not complete the regen, and/or get insanely hot, possibly causing damage

Soot is calculated via the pressure differential before and after the DPF. It’s not a hypothetical figure like oil/ash level.

@@SalvageRevival is normal that the soot level went up as we had a bad DPF sensor…. I would bet with you if you have a good 3.0 TDI or 2.0 TDI VAG group car with the similar Dpf pressure with no EML light on or no power loss… they are kind of normal pressure on them… I like to wash DPF’s out only if is worth cleaning… I take from customers only what belong to me …. He’s a sound and knowledgeable guy but I don’t agree with many flushes …
