The Parts Cannon PORSCHE? (MAF "Implausible")

The owner of this clean 2011 Porsche Cayenne V8 has been dealing with an annoying ROUGH idle setting a P1070 - "MAF Signal Implausible" DTC...for over 6 months!
Having fired the PARTS CANNON a few times with no results, he brought it over for an actual DIAGNOSIS.
Never worked on one of these beasts, but let's jump right in: gather some data, look up some info, and try some experiments :)
