I’ve struggled with Porn since I was 10 or 11 years old once my friend showed it to me. I’m 21 now and finally getting off this terrible addiction. I’ve always hated this perception of woman I have had for the past 10 years. Still a virgin btw, but that’s ok, definitely worth to have sex 300 times with one women than have sex with 300 different woman; less change of STI and keeping a “schedule”. I want to be able to attract the right woman. I consider myself a Zoomer and I don’t care, there is good woman out there. Woman aren’t the problem it’s social media making woman a problem. Take that as you will, I don’t have any social media. As a last resort on my addiction I’ve put restrictions on all these adult websites/social media. Probably the best decisions of my life. There is always a way in, there is always a way out. And the way out is definitely worth it. We’ll find that woman, don’t lose hope I still have a long life to live. You all have a good day and god bless.

There is a middle ground between "sex with one woman 300 times and sex with 300 different women one time. Yes, there are "good women" out there, and waiting for one you feel is the "right" one can lead to incredible happiness--and I speak from experience. However, I'm not convinced that social media is the problem. As I see it, the problem is shame, which is a predictable consequence of, among other things, Judeo-Christian ideas about these matters. This, in Western countries, is the source of the shame, the "struggle", and the sense that masturbation/porn involvement is not solely a behavioral problem but a moral issue. Religious dogma suggests that the person viewing porn is not merely engaging in an activity that is hotly debated but by doing so they are flawed and diseased. That is NOT where the recent science is leading.

Started developing severe anxiety before I was 5 (I’m 60 now) and ADD. all untreated and undiagnosed till now. The anxiety led to poor self image, social anxiety, performance anxiety, sexual intimacy anxiety, no self esteem or confidence. The ADD intensified my needs for dopamine. Porn has become not just an escape… it’s now my reality. I’ve contemplated telling my therapist I give up. Let’s focus on how I can somehow accept the facet I’m a worthless piece of crap and will never fix all this 50+ years of built up negativity, fear and shame and that I’ll never find a partner and experience intimacy again. And that thought drives me deeper into depression and porn. I see all the why’s driving me deeper. There’s just so much to try and overcome after 60 years of undiagnosed and untreated anxiety and ADD. I fear it’s too late for me.

How can I not want to escape that? I desperately want to break of from porn and have had a 153 day streak at one time but have never come close since. I feel stuck because my wife has no way of moving out as she has never pursued work or a high school diploma. So the cycle continues fighting, failing, escaping into the screen, High dopamine rush, not in control of my emotions, fighting ensues and sometimes it causes me to act of charachter, High negative emotions after fight, Flanders finally failing to best the urge to escape and the cycle continues

You make some good points earlier in the video, but then at the end, it all falls apart. 1. What if the one thing One wants is the one thing One can't get?? Sure, anyone can take a book out on cooking or learn new yoga techniques, but, imagine if cooking were feminist? Or if yoga had "rights" like women? 2. Then, suppose you might know HOW to get what you want, and it's BUYING it and PAYING people for it? (ie; prostitutes). Well that then means One has to enter a whole new kettle of fish. We then have to DO things, or work at places or generate money some how to be able to buy the sex that we need to get the thing that we need to become the person we want "to be". But first we have to be something else, do something else, and be someone else, to get what we think, feel and believe we need. So what is it? Forget about the Stones in getting what you "want"! What about getting what it is that One "NEEDS"?? Isn't sex supposed to be a human right? And if so, then, why are modern women withholding? Why are western women abusing men's human rights? Porn is waaay better than any of this. Porn never plays games or makes you do things you don't have to do to get what you want. It's *THERE* ! It's just a *click* away... Thanks, Dude in Canada
@FredAllenBurge8 ай бұрын
No, sex is not a human right at all my guy, like not at all at all. It's a human desire yes, but not a right. You have no rights over anyone else's body. You have right to do what you please with yours and if that's not enough to fulfill your sexual desires you must become the kind of person that a woman wants to be with and start a healthy relationship.
@Bluzian748 ай бұрын
@@FredAllenBurge What do women even know? They don't even know what they want. As a dude who already exudes the kind of kindness women can't even afford, I'll have to politely disagree with you my brother. Good effort though. .. If only males could have the same rights, desires, wants, needs and opportunities as women. What a fantastically equal world it could be. I still honestly believe that rape ought to be either decriminalized or legalized. Like, how the hell are babies even made if you cant even get to enjoy women?!?! How are 8 billion people on the planet!?! HOW!!!?? Is the world's population nothing more than one big gigantic unwanted pregnancy? And that each and every one of us are an outcome of "rape" ! ? ?!?! @@bixl900 I don't follow. How can porn be bad for you but feminism isn't ? Feminism has CAUSED porn. Last time I checked, unfortunately, rape is still illegal. Crazy. I know. Substitute ? Men aren't even allowed to desire women or sex!! wtf you talking about son? IF ONLY men had rights today! Some! Any! No man, it's not my life. There are LAWS!!!!! rules!!! Police!! Courts! Judges!!! Over paid laywers!!! Christ. What planet are you on ? I WISH it were my life. I wish white males had choices and opportunities. But because we clearly don't, we are resigned to using alternate means of pleasure. I mean, perhaps if sex were free, or, if women paid men for sex! Sure, ok, then maybe you'd have an argument, Or, perhaps sex was conscripted, yeah, that'd put the porn out of business eh ? But that ain't gonna happen either. Worse still women to have abortion rights AND the right to falsely accuse dudes of sexual assault from 47 years ago, that WE ALL KNOW *NEVER* happened. Let's be honest man, ok ? Don't bullshit me. Or maybe even prohibit the birth control pill and abolish all condoms / IUD's etc. Then sure, white males might stand half a chance at not having to rely on porn. But until any or some of my anecdotes occur, then all men ought to be totally using porn like it's candy. If only women could be candy. If only women wanted to be candy. Women today just have no value. They can't even cook, clean, boil water or know how to turn a man on. They are useless. Porn is not useless. Porn has inherent value. Think about it.

Can you do some videos on fetish porn? Can men watch porn to feel an emotional connection instead of just it being lust?
@vl43948 ай бұрын
The emotional component is probably why people go to eg hentai. Drawn characters are pure creations, they have no basis beyond their construction and what they were imbued with by the mind of the creator. Therefore they can be given realer emotions, and their stories are also real(er). Whereas actors are (probably) real people, so you have all this stuff in the back of your mind.

What's helped me the most is simply letting go, deep apathy, beyond the superficial layers (which like any compartmentalization, doublethink, or selective mutability of the personality structure, is utility focused). A lot of the advice given is essentially hormetic, bit of stress, relearn to tap into and exert the will, then gradual reorganization of the inner world and its architecture. Do a bit less of this, more of this. For me this doesn't work because there is no foundation, there is no higher person or personality beyond the core self, therefore there is nothing to build on in an interpersonal sense and nothing to rearrange. I'm basically a solipsist, by habit, prior necessity, or developmental limitation, it really doesn't make a functional difference after those developmental windows have passed. Therefore, there also is no sex. No sexuality. Doesn't exist, none of it is real. I can tell what is fake or unreal, always could, but simply knowing unreality doesn't bring a true reality into being. Sex is fantasy, doesn't exist. There is no truth in or of it, and if I can't conceive of something, then it isn't possible. I accepted that I didn't want to create a reality, and that was it. Everything disappeared.

It’s a vicious cycle I’m stuck in. I know that despite my height being a major problem, my lack of confidence is either wholly and partly the reason as well, and a big part of lack of confidence is porn addiction… which leads to rejection… but constant rejection plummets my confidence even further which fuels my addiction. I’ve never experienced love and romance. And I know this is unhealthy, but after more than a decade of trying, I really do think the key to pulling myself out of this vicious cycle is for one, just one woman I desire to desire me. Even if we end up not having a relatiosnjop, but just go out for a few dates, I truly believe that empirical proof of desirability will help me pull myself out of the cycle
