I am a Christian, pornography is truly an epidemic in the whole world. My neighbor was shocked when her 12yr old son told her that he had known about s..x since he was 8yr old. She asked him who taught him about it? He said he learned it st school from his fellow pupils. As parents we must step our game, stay close to them, let them tell you about what happens in school from their early age. That way you will know the kind of friends he / she keeps at school. Unfortunately, we have found ourselves in the world where everybody is busy, and as such, parents don't pay attention to what's happening around us. May God help us.

I agree with you. I just want you to remember this era is different, you can't follow your kids everywhere. Even if you do they will still get exposed. Just educate them about it. I don't do drugs because my parents, society and school first educated me about it. No one talked to me about porn when I was growing up. I was exposed at 13. lucky for me, I didn't get addicted because I was a serious gamer growing up. However as I grew, my body started craving for sex and I started reverting to porn. I managed to educate myself about it from NoFap platforms, FightTheNewDrug and other similar institutions. Its been a struggle but its been a year since I watched porn. I have deleted all my social media apps, cut of some friends, got my self more busy, learning a lot from anti-porn institutions. Also, I believe the issue of pornography and masturbation is not religious. Its more of a mental/social problem

Impossible, kids nowadays will have a PC and need a PC. Not only to do school work, but also to most likely play games. Even when the first PS4 came out with a working browser it was the easiest thing to do to access porn, so you will NEVER get rid of a device, it's impossible and also stupid to do. The only thing parents and other people can do is educate the children about what the harms are and why it's not good to do ( not only through a religious perspective, but through empirical evidence, etc, showing the statistics. ) This is what you said in your last part and I agree fully with this.

There are a few things I would like to highlight: 1) Porn is a coping mechanism. It’s an attempt to fill void. Void could be lack of ability to find a partner, dead marriage or stressed out partner or simply lack of communication in a relationship. 2) Many use porn to “release” themselves while they don’t have other “outlet”. In other words, easy access often leads to a situation where instead of trying to read a book before bed trying to fall asleep, some might use porn to just “get off”. 3) Many are genuinely curious. Sex is still a taboo and many don’t have a proper outlet to even discuss and relate to their feelings and urges to outside their digital world. Often taboos lead to curiosity. There is no easy solution. World today is decadent. If not porn, it will be magazines, ads etc. Everywhere you look there is potential triggers. It’s not easy to be a man. Having the luck of a partner who understands and supports you and your needs and also sustains the genuine physical attractions through thick and thin is the only way but that too has become very difficult. There is too much drama in relationship, everyone is comparing themselves to others through the lens of Instagram.

I agree with Hina. But we need to understand that this addiction not only collapsing unmarried youths but also a married life. Yes. When I lived in Saudi Arabia 15 years back , the divorce rate (I don't know current rate) was sky rocketing in many Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia. The most common reason found that boys who learned many bad things from pornography and they force the girl to do so. When the girl refuse, then they are going for divorce. It is a very urgent issue today that youths need to be educated to understand difference between pornography and real life.

Alhamdulilah I quit 16 months ago, cold turkey and the level of depression/suicidal thoughts make me NEVER want to go back to it. 8 months in my morning "woods" came back, I also had my first wet dream (can you believe that subhanalah) ever! I've been addicted since 13, so I don't remember a time where I wasn't CONSISTENTLY jkng off, sometimes 3x, often 4 time a DAY! I was graped by a Muslim woman at the age of 8 so this was my COPING mechanism, every time I was even anxious, depressed, upset or angry I watched it to soothe pain. Porn is a sedative, it soothes you pain away whether it is familial, grape etc.

There's a thing, marriage in most Muslim countries is truly difficult and because many of those handicaps are today a result of social media, economic and political factors being alienated to the Western countries it becomes impressively hard to maintain stability and morality in those circumstances. Also, we've to consider our principles even if Islam is the foundation of our communities, today as we said previously to constitute a family and a society with value is undoubtedly the main problem. TBH I understand that women want a better life and recognition but they do not help men at all these days they are just extremely possessive and want imperatively to be implicated in every area the men have to be. and it's not misogyny it's the sad reality that men are asphyxiated with the presence of women in everyday life all of us have roles. and men can not do what women could and vis versa. Each one of us has to understand we are built differently emotionally and physically and as human beings we react with different manners so men and women need to talk wisely about this situation and why life must be conducted with better perception according to our beliefs and values.

Prioritize their iman (daily prayers and quran+tafseer), social (hang out with right friends), physical (high physical activity and protein/vitamin diet), mental (listen and spend time with them daily. Make them the center heart of your life (they should be already)). 2.5 Start prioritizing online teaching to counter liberal schools. But also teach them RELEVEANT coursework from an early age, from home. Go overboard. 3. Puberty hits>>>teach them to wait just a little longer. 3.5 MAXIMIZE their ability to have a job at 18 without needing college degree (men, but can also be women) 4. Age 18: Get them married. Your #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5 priority is getting them married to the right person. Everything is basically worthless in comparison to how important this. The kind of person your son/daughter marries should be: 1. Life or death strong on iman/deen. 2. Fit. Not just healthy, fit and strong, so that: 3. Sex keeps the marriage strong (sex=jihad in marriage) and 4. Deen keeps the sex in the marrriage, and 5. The extra coursework done before 18 lets them earn 50k>>75k RIGHT at 18. (or marry at 18, then both go to higher education, solid plan B) This is how you hard stop pornography. You destroy motivations and STOP MAKING YOUR CHILDREN WAIT TILL THEY ARE 25/30. THANKS.

The most dangerous thing is that it _feels good._ Yes, it's curiosity at first and then a pattern, but the pattern exists because of the climax releasing intense feelings. At that point, you get addicted and get more and more extreme just to get that "high" as tolerance builds up. Your points about limiting access are good, but the social norms of today can make someone without the latest smartphone feel like an outsider, unfortunately. How do we find that balance between teaching our kids about this _while_ allowing them access to these devices? Once you've tasted the apple, it's so easy to get hooked on the tree.

Everyone saying "marry early" as the solution😩 Is no one aware that one of the common reasons for divorce is porn addiction?? Married people are watching porn. My family was conservative growing up, but I knew an older family member was reading dirty novels lol. They were hidden in the laundry room. And before anyone bashes my family, the likelihood is incredibly high that SOMEONE close to you, even in your family, is engaged in haram sexual content. Even if they seem very conservative and pious. The root issues of porn is media, technogical access, too much privacy. In Islam, if we are struggling with a sin, one of the solutions is to increase our time with others. Learn deen, speak to our families and kids. Have discussions on the harms, don't just shame it away our pretend it isn't happening. Advocate for making it ILLEGAL. Because porn online, in our western nations at least, is legal. And there is non-consensual content even that is on there. There was a story about a Niqabi woman whose "Muslim" husband was recording them and posting porn content of her online. This is less common among Muslims, surely, but it is very common in general. All of that crap needs to be PUNISHED. Sure, encourage marriage. I want my kids to marry earlier rather than later too. But that isn't going to stop the evil of porn from entering the home. Anyone who thinks that is blind.

You have pointed out one important problem but unfortunately in real life, there are multiple problems to deal with. In real life adults have their own issues like someone seriously ill, someone out of a job and therefore depressed, someone working night shifts, someone who have lost their spouse etc. In some families, there are psychiatric issues. Then there are adults who want to marry but their circumstances don't allow it and so on. Your video addresses a situation where only kids are exposed to porn and the rest of the family is living an ideal life and can take all necessary steps as directed in your video consistently. Nevertheless, your video has an important message.

I would advise all parents to set up parental controls through their internet service provider. You can do this by logging into your account and setting it to block all adult content. Also do this on all computers, phones etc. Secondly have the conversation with your kids about the dangers of porn and masterbation. It will not just effect you negatively mentally but also physically to your health.

The root cause is not supporting childrens emotional development. Porn is a sign of a much bigger problem. Its ditectly filling a void in peopls lives that should be othetwise better regulated. EVERY CHILD IS UNIQUE . 1. Role models Children do as other children do but they think as their parents think and behave. 2. There is always period of life we think every adult is “ an idiots”, until around age of 19-20, then suddenly their reasoning changes. 3. Children are watching you ( what you do not what you say ). How often you are dependent to your devices! Do you have your own cellular beside your bed? Do you use it as last thing you go to bed or first thing you watch when you wake up in the morning? 4. How often you talk at home about things you read, seen or learned from internet. How often you talk about your own life lessens, your parents and other famous peoples life lessens. Do you do as Quran says? Do you really investigate the truth independently? Do you respect and tolerate others freedom to think, to believe, to live? If children believe that everything other people than Muslims do is wrong or less good, then be ready you make them interested in knowing what others do ! Children who are respected and loved at home they always come back to their real role models even if they have periods of mistakes. Take them back with much love and respect. Watch what children eat and how much they sleep and how often they exercise. Too much protein means too early puberty. We use to talk more about our body to the girls than boys. Both parents should talk to boys and girls about how our body functions. Talk to them about real “ love”. Love is sum of all virtues. What is beauty. What is real wealth. Why we get married. … Last and most important thing to talk about; if we teach children that “ we are animals, then don’t get surprised if they behave instinctively! “ We are spiritual beings in material body. Every decision we make, every thought we think every unjust behavior has a result. God loves justice. “ the best beloved of all things in my sight is justice, don’t turn away therefrom, if though desire me and neglect it not that I may confined in thee. … “.

God will help us when we are trying first to help ourselves honestly and sincerely, otherwise humanity will face, not just God punishment soon or later but disappearance and ending human race if we like or not.

If you give your sons lofty goals that suit them they will be make it. Black belt in a martial arts, pilots license, an SAT score > n. Set a vision to become a lawyer, a doctor or an entrepreuer depending on their personality. Fail to foster that and they won't get excited about anything. Our culture just focuses on eating and consuming. A lot of muslim households are fear based which isn't always the best for male children. For Quran goals, yes hifz is great but that is a small subset of kids...for average kid make it manageable first: memorize 30th juz and surah yasin, ayat-ul-kursi, then learn arabic grammar and vocab to understand it. Do a family quran study a few times a week for 15-20 minutes (shorter at first so they don't hate it)...the best english translation is by Yayha Emerick. If you don't study it, you don''t believe in it. The cure to being lost is menorship and pursuing ehsan--too many parents are complacent or subconsicously afraid their kids will surpass them (I see them just complain without investing anything meaningful in their development which includes being great examples themselves)

One of the factors in modern muslim marriages mostly is that marriage especially of the Asian culture is very expensive. It could lead us to get married late or just rather stay single while feeling depressed because of having the peer pressure but sinultaneously not having the right financial terms potentially for both sides to tie the knot towards longevity. Along the way, some bad effects like watching porn and haram relationships have been normalised. Finding the right spouse could also be one of the worst factors nowadays where the concept of marriage for the sake of Allah is not part of the main intention.

Being a Muslim teenager especially in Subcontinent is extremely difficult. Many youths wants to get married but all gets on standstill when you're required to build up your career, finishing higher education and to earn wages otherwise you would remain as a bull***t forever and wouldn't be eligible to get married. Not to forget but the rape rates in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan are one of the highest and those society beliefs are to be blamed. Islam provides complete solution but we Muslims of this particular region mix those things with Islam making it more difficult.

If someone is unmarried more than 20 then it's the fault of parents, society who made the marriage complex, why do u not accept the Western marriage culture in a church with simple, no expensive, no dowry. Everyone prepares himself to be able financially for marriage. Why maturity & Adultness are not the ability to be married. Sex is an appetite, a natural phenomenon which is required for every body's.
