Great video! I was told that we can’t predict our porosity from these different techniques unless it’s on a microscopical level. So I stopped trying to figure it out and just try to trust the feel of my hair.

Yeah it’s definitely normal to have a mixture of porosity. I read that for example if you chemically treat or colour your hair, the new growth will have low porosity.

Absolutely. For example some say use warm water, others say use water with no specification. So which one is it 😅. Yeah I just couldn’t run around saying I’m this or that porosity after such a basic test 🫣
