You handled it with class, Styx. That ROTC are trashy and tacky as f*** was already shown on that Kumite, and Mersh's everyday behavior hasn't deviated from that since then. Dostoyevsky was unironically a gigachad. Recognized that the Catholic Church was merely an extension of Imperial Rome and which caused the Vatican to naturally embrace socialism, which he accurately describes as being a system of governance and even pseudo-religion of certain tribal people. I don't have exact quotes on hand, but he wrote about the coexisting governmental systems of Europe which was both Democratic and Oligarchical, that the Democracy stumped for the poor, the Oligarchs governed exclusively for themselves, but they both ignored society as a whole and came to the conclusion that an Orthodox Christian Tsar is the only one who would have motivation to fix greater societal ills and that a unified Orthodox Christian Russian people would have no societal ills to be solved. That is AFTER he got sent to a horrible labor camp as punishment for distributing literature critical of Nicholas I…! Talk about letting bygones be bygones
