Porsche 911 (993) Motorsound airbox comparison

Comparison between OEM factory airbox and the optional motorsound airbox on a 1994 Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 2 with non varioram 3.6 litre engine. The difference is subtle, but most noticeable above 4000 RPM.

I can hear the diff with headphones -especially around 4K+ More of a booming sound I would say.

Its not noticeable until over 4,300 rpm and tails of at over 6k rpm, (for varioram another noticeable step change kicks in around 5k plus rpm)sadly its difficult with this video as the driver is easing off too quickly. This changes are very pronounced so either its the recording equipment or the guy is simply not really giving it some.
