Hey brother, sounds like a solid solution. My only issue with the fitcam units are the price and the fact that you're locked down to the camera that comes with it. Since it isn't a modular setup, you're kinda stuck with what you have. Other than that, I do think it looks extremely sleek. Cheers!

Do you use parking mode with this? If so, how long are you able to park without killing your battery?

I don't use parking mode on this car, but on my Mazda, I have it hooked up to constant power. That said, it definitely isn't 24hrs (maybe 12-16 hrs) since it's got the "low voltage" cut-off built in. I think it'd last 24hrs if there wasn't any restriction on using the battery's juice. It also depends on the size and health of your cars battery. Also, if you don't drive every day, you're not "topping off" the battery which could impact the health of the battery along with the hours that parking mode is enabled.

@@Auto-Minute Oh sweet, so there is a low voltage cutoff in there. I wasn't sure if there was and was leaning towards the viofo hardwire kit because of it.

@@BlindedFateGaming Actually the low voltage cut off is built-in within the dash cam im using (Garmin X110) so it doesn't matter which hardwire kit i use :)

@@DrivenNotHidden Looks like it's unavailable on their site as well. Btw, the one they do have available (dongar.tech/products/porsche-keyway2) also works. It actually provides a constant source of power and taps into the dome-light connector port. You can see it in this video at 1:02 when I say "you can leave this alone" ha! I found this out months after making this video. Hope that helps! Cheers.
