I don't care what purists say, a car is meant to be driven, and this car looks fun as heck.
@RandomDuude8 жыл бұрын
Any "purist" who cringes at an off road Porsche doesn't know shit about Porsches.

I'll have to agree, but on a serious note this car is brilliant and gorgeous at the same time
@therainforest43148 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more. Back in the early 70's I had a 1959 Porsche 356 that I drove on similar roads in a very similar manner, and those were some of the most fun car driving experiences I ever had. :-)

Superb! Fuck purists! I get those Mothers turn their nose up at mine many times. It's mine and I'll do as I like.
@masturone82578 жыл бұрын
Even the 959 which in its time was the fastest production car in the world (second fastest if you consider the F40 a production vehicle and only faster in top speed by few MPH but no where else) was raced in rally's. So if you know Porsche and are a purist then this shouldn't surprise you. That scary time when you lift off the throttle on asphalt in a 80s era 911 that liked to kick your rear end out is what makes it so much fun and predictable when you do the same thing driving it in dirt.

So much respect for Farah for getting one of these and admitting he wants it mainly for city driving. It's not fun driving a modern super car on the roads. Public asphalt is not designed for 20" rims and sub 3 second 0-60 times. THIS is the sports car you need for daily fun in real life on real roads. Farah is smart and honest. Good for him.

As an automotive purist (not a 911 purist) I feel this is exactly the kind of thing you should do with a car. They're made to be driven. Hell, I would drive the wheels off any car, even if it was one of a kind. They are built to be enjoyed, not sit on a pedestal and look pretty until the end of time. It's funny, this is exactly the kind of 911 build I thought of doing at one time, but with the price of one I have to pick a different car when the time comes.
