Porsche 911 Turbo, Nissan GTR, Audi R8 V10 Plus. The Winner Is!

In my last video I received a lot of great comments on which car should I buy next. The 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S, 2017 Nissan GTR, or the 2017 Audi R8. V10 Plus. Made a fun video with some excitement at the end. Full review will be coming soon.

0wninguplz​​​ Well, hey, "different strokes for different folks," I guess! Although my initial impression of the new R8 wasn't that good, it didn't take long for me to realize Audi did a fantastic job of making a good looking supercar even better-looking. In my opinion, the new R8 is more aggressive and exotic looking than it predecessor. It just has more of this "low slung" appearance that is ideal for supercars, in my opinion. Glad to know your feelings about the car change a bit. I disagree that it is a step back, though.

If your don't need space for the Family id say the new R8 the 606-610 hp it makes is unreal it's basically a Huracan with over 70 grand off sticker ... And the 0-60 is like 2.6 out the box with a 10.7 second quarter mile

Too bad I'm too lazy to work for a car like that. On a side note, I thought it was better for the car if you don't push it to hard until after the first 5k miles or something like that.

***** Thank you Ray, I was just in Tampa at Veteran's Ford who has a blue black edition from '13 there, they want a crazy 78k! I was like umm you're way over priced. I just have to wait it out I guess and let that money stack. I loved the car but I said he is 8 to 10k way too high for a '13. Thanks again for your response:)

0wninguplz​​​​ Lol. True! But that's just because I believe most of these folks draw their reactions about the car based upon seeing it in pics and vids, rather than in the flesh (much like I did). And, because my feelings towards the car changed after seeing it in person (I felt I was wrong), I feel like they are too. Lol. Let's face it, more than half the time a new car replaces one of the same model line (one the we've become so attached to), we tend to conclude it is not as good looking as the previous. And, that just might have something to do with our unwillingness to accept change. The same is true even when it comes to culture and religion. Remember when the new C7 Corvette replaced the C6, people we quick to point out that it was a step back in design. The same thing happened when the Ferrari 488 GTB replaced the 458. And there are numerous other examples, both before and after the two supercars that I mentioned were released. Lol.

I agree with your points however it is just not always true. In my opinion the 458 still looks better in person than a 488 and the old r8 still looks better than the current one. Even the gtr 2015 version looks better than the 2017 imo. However there are cars which do improve like the new Huracan Performante looks better than the regular Huracan and the new 720s looks better than the 650s. I would say it all depends really.

0wninguplz​​​ I am not impying that a new car always looks better than the previous model it replaces. I am just saying that more than half the time people are quick to point out the old one looks better, even before seeing the new one in person. That's all I am saying. You pointed out that you think the 458 looks better than 488GTB that replaced it. But some car journalists (Chris Harris, including) have pointed out that they think the 488 looks better. And, so, I do understand that "looks" is subjective, also. I have seen the 458 Italia/Spider in person several times, but never the 488GTB. So, I can't make a fair comparison as to which looks better. I will point out, however, that I prefer the overall rear end design of the 488 GTB, although I like the way the exhausts are laid out on the 458 a bit better. But, if I were to judge based upon pics and vids, the 458 Speciale looks better than both the 458 Italia and 488GTB, in my opinion. I agree with you that the Performante looks better than the regular Huracan, but not that the 720S looks better than the 650S. You can tell a lot of attention went into the design of the new 720S when you look at it. But it more for aerodynamic reasons, not elegance. And I don't like to see too much vents on a car. So, I'd say the 650S looks better. But, again, a fair comparison can only be done when one sees them both in person.
