Porsche 911 Turbo VS BMW i8: What's A Better Deal For $50k?

My buddy Angelo finally found a pristine condition BMW i8! He's been in the market for one for almost a year, and came across some pretty seriously damaged ones in his search. He ended up buying a 20k mile example for ~$50k, and we wanted to compare to see what's a better bang for your buck at that price!
Angelo's a huge electric car fan and has gone through quite a few Teslas, so the i8 was right up his alley.

I have a 2014 i8. The sound inside is not 'fake' as such, it is the sound of the exhaust but piped in through the drivers speaker (in the UK). There are custom exhausts out there which do make it sound 'better'? I actually like it the way it is in stock, because you can go ninja mode or hooligan mode.
