Amazing. Your attention to detail, documentation and descriptive efforts, and overall video production values are nearly as good as your manual technique. Thank you from a new subscriber! When I owned my 944 I always took some pleasure from the knowledge that my daily driver was a direct descendant of a class-winning Le Mans racer, but this right here is the genuine article. The 924 Carrera GT is almost criminally underrated and underappreciated, but I think it's one of the most beautiful cars Porsche ever built (and raced). It's wonderful to get to have some close-up virtual garage time with this example. Thanks again to you and to the fortunate owner. I'm still dreaming of building a CGT tribute car based on a last-model-year 924S!

Good to see Social detailing working well!!!! And your must have a mixed music collection; first, we had Space invaders, then a cross between Bob Marlee Reggae and African war dance and then a smooth jazzy sound. But again it suits the car as its rare too. Well done and great to see original paint looking better than when it left Germany. You are really a patient wizard. Great series really enjoyed it. One coating that does not flash is Gtechnic Crystal Serum Light and neither does the 2 coats of exoV4. It forms like sweat beads and the lines of the coating start to separate. Great 3-5 year coating for the DIY’er.

Great video Sandro. Amazing results, the Porsche looks like glass. You often talk about the coating "flash time", I am in no way in your class of paint detailer but I have coated 4 vehicles and one thing I noticed for "flash time" was the amount of coating on my pad, when the coating was wet and heavy on the pad the flash time was increased and thin coats flashed quickly.

Very nice tips about the flashing time. I applied your methods when coating a car and found out that I didn't wait long enoth for the coating to flash. When it starts to flash, its much easier to wipe of the residue. Thanks for sharing!

I’m sure that with how much work and care you put into some of the cars that you detail, it’s hard not to become sentimentally attached to the cars like a dog trainer would to the dogs that he trains for his clients. I’m sure after so long it’s become just part of the business and I think I remember you mentioning that the owner of the vehicle takes great car of his collection of cars, but my question to you is: Is it ever a lil heart wrenching seeing the car you put so much work and care into, drive away onto life’s unforgiving streets? 😂

Your Porsche video reminded me of my 86 Porsche 951 that I had. I loved every minute of your restoration from “guards pink” back to “guards red”. I’ve seen them brought back to life way worse than this 924 was. Amazing work mate.

What microfibre cloths do you use to wipe off the coating? Are regular bulk supercheap microfibre cloths ok to use or do you have to buy expensive ones to wipe off? And do you demote/throw away your cloths after you're done wiping off ceramic coatings?

Thanks, and three layers is optional for many coatings, but also a lot of work for one person to do to a high level. CarPro actually doesn’t recommend topping Pro with Gliss, or at least not until it’s fully cured or down the track, it’s just a little different that way.

Oh. It would be great if they gave more info in their consumer products like that. I thought it might be to show the oil slick colour when it flashed, but it takes too long to use it got that!! 🤪🤪
