Speaking for myself I appreciate a lot of narration when your working on difficult paints. This is knowledge that’s hard to come by and you help elevate the rest of us that don’t have your level of expertise. Your channel is unique because of the way you explain how to try different combinations and then show the results with video that has great lighting and sharp focus.

Great work and another great video, Sandro. 👍I enjoy your narration, it gives a great insight to your thought process through out the detail and the course of action you take. The road tax disc in the windscreen is the same style we used to have in Britain, before they did away with them.

Had been a while since I watched one of your videos. You always pick the perfect music for your content, I can assure you that your effort in taking the time to record all of this well, put it together, and edit all of this is not lost on a lot of us. I know it takes a ton of work, time and dedication, and we appreciate you for it :) Nothing like polishing single stage eh? Specially red!! Stunning work as always, obviously.

I have been saving this video until now. I wanted to watch it all without interruption and at a time when I know I would be able to enjoy it to the fullest. Your videos are always highlights for me and this one surely did not dissapoint. The way you explain and make an amateur like me understand some of your tecniques and how you go about the jobs are just wunderful. On top of that the editing and feel in the content is amazing. The car looks fantastic and to follow your steps are a treasure. Love it.

Great work. I owned a GTI mkII of this vintage with Tornado Red single stage paint. That paint oxidised so quickly and was soft indeed. I hand polished it which took some time. And used Zymol paste wax for an ultra deep shine - looked awesome when complete. That wax required a rewax every 4 months or so. Modern clear coats are so much easier to maintain but these old single stage paints can look great after a good workout.

I work on soft Japanese paint with microfiber pads from Meguiars and the finish was flawless. But, I don’t use your method. I use the new technique that go with the grain of the paint. I don’t do up, down, up, down method. I follow curves and grain of the paint. I try to push the limit everyday and make my job easier all the time. Your work is great 👍. I would love to try TLC compounds.

Wow Sandro! If the highest level of detailing a red car is to make it look orange at certain angles you my friend have mastered it! If it’s not....imma sit this drink down and watch it again when I’m completely sober! 😂 Here in the U.S. we call a car glossing like that wet or dripping...I think you may have puddles on the floor when you’re done. 💯💦 Nice work!

How about rupes blue or yellow woolpad? Im min middle of correcting black C6 corvette and it is soft/medium. Microfiber left awfull haze, but blue wool finished pretty nicely. It will probably be 3-step job though. My next project will be red 1986 Porsche 944 :) Anyway great job like allways! How many hours this took? I have to do some paint chip repair also. Hopefully wont be too long project lol.

Hi Sandro, I knelt this is an unrelated question but do you find the Carpro hydro 2 tends to build up on the wheels and actually ends up becoming sticky and attracting dirt? As I’ve heard a lot people say this and don’t want to buy the product if this is the case.

Yes I have and they work pretty well, similar to the original HDOs, but I do feel they suffer from increased heat so you do need to swap them out and let them cool more frequently.
