Just came across this 2 pt series. Gotta tell you mate, your a true master of your craft. It takes an enormous amount of patience to do that level of work. I have no doubt you treat every car with this detail of care. Also, the narrating of your specefic process and specificity to your rules is truly amazing. Youd definitely be at the top of my list if i needed a professional detail. Great work to you!! Let me add, great job on the editing and music as well!! Paid off nicely 👍👍

People that are not doing this kind of work thinks that some are more attentive than others. It’s true but a true detailler is a person that loves details. I love perfection that’s why I chose to start my detailing business. If you don’t like details you won’t have a single client.

Man, your shop is SO nice. I wish I could get the kind of work that allowed me to go this extreme and afford a nice shop. In my area people think $500US on a car detail and protection is crazy money....I'm like....you guys dont even know lol.

I spent ~ 10 hours over the last couple of evenings washing my girlfriend's very neglected Kia Piccanto. It is 7 years old and it has NEVER been washed by her. It get a quick spritz by the dealer when it goes in for a service. Mixture of household APC and AutoFinesse Citrus Pro only shifted the heavy stuff, leaving lots of stains and tough grime. I really needed something stronger, like Surfex HD but I had non. After using almost a full litre each of Auto Finnesse ObliTARate and BH Korrosol, I have most of the visible contaminents out, though I broke many rules by having to scrub the surfaces faily aggressively with a MF towel. It's not entering any competitions and it's cover in dints and scratches so it really doesn't matter. Tonight, it will be rinsed and clayed, though I've no IPA to wipe over with afterwards and I've no chance of getting any any time soon. Might just have to wash it throughly by hand. It's not getting polished or cleansed, though I might give it a quick layer of wax just to make it easier next time. Far from ideal, but a lot better than how it was. Anyways, long story short, that alone was enough to inflic severe back pain that stopped me sleeping. I don't know how you guys do detailing as a profession, you have my respect!

It's very physically demanding, I do construction and detailing on the side and often detailing makes my back and neck more sore than construction. It is certainly worth every penny....people dont realize how much work it is. After putting that much work in a car and going through the clay process you really need to protect it with at least a wax....something like the new Turtle Wax Hybrid Pro, you can find it in stores, it's a great prosumer product that's easy to use.

Hey Sandro! First...the soundtrack was banging! Second...your attention to detail and thoroughness is what separates you from the rest. No amount of money paid can get that out of a person if it’s not there from the beginning. You have shown this ‘Love’ for detailing consistently! Tip of the hat to you my friend! Third...well, I’m just waiting patiently-not so patiently-for the third installment! Good day mate! And thank you!

@@bengerman9648 it wouldnt suprise me...like a mechanic that hates working on his own cars. I do detail work on the side, I get OCD with them...but I hate cleaning my own cars, partly because I dont have the time but mostly because I can NOT STAND watching them get dirty after I got OCD on them for 10+hrs. With a customer I can get OCD and enjoy the transition then send it off and not watch dust land on it or mud puddles splatter all over it. Because of this, I literally cant stand even washing my own cars....on a side note, I dont have a garage so they get very dirty very fast when washed.

The attention to detail here is amazing. I am in awe. I am surprised the front seats were not removed for cleaning, thinking it would be easier to clean them, the area underneath them, as well as give better access to the back seats. Oops, after watching other presentations, I now get why you sometimes don't remove the seats. :)

Echo 90% of the other comments that this is an impressive series of videos to watch, and I applaud the attention to detail. Given the difficulty of this restoration (and the issues you raised in the video), at what point do you start recommending a full strip and re-spray of the paint? I imagine the pain-staking process you went through was at the owner's dedication to retain the factory paint? Thanks Edit: Looks like you mostly cover this question in the first few minutes of your Part 3 video!

Thank you for showing another coating area using D-Lux. I also use this on my wheels and love it. I repainted my wheel wells satin black and applied 2 layers of Reload (I truly love Carpro products), not even thinking to use D-Lux in there. When the next wheel well deep clean happens, I will definitely be using the D-Lux. Cheers Sandro 👍

Thank you for sharing all this information. I love watching this video! It is making my day better. You shared a wealth of great info. I look forward to learning more from you I wish the owner would have just done brand new rotors with this. It’s a perfect car with rusty rotors now. I would have pulled the coil overs to have them refreshed or rebuilt if they were serviceable and the finish redone if I was going through all this trouble and expense and prob have the suspension recoated. It’s really not that expensive in the long run unless Aussie prices are up there.
