You should put a big warning NOT to take the new key apart. Putting the spring back is a royal pita.

I went through example the same thing, this video came a few month late to help me, but was easy, but not intuitive to pry the mechanism apart, I am sure this will help other that need to do this.

Dude you are doing that the hard way, just yank the old key out and shove it into the new head. You don't even need to use tools. You are definitely not German. I should of made a video it would of been 2 minutes
