these cracks and pops are INSANE! I'm going to make this one of my goals, to make a LS powered mid-engine Porsche.

Nice! Another Boxster owner who's a Bitcoin fan! Not a great week we're having so far but hopefully after August 1st everything will be green :) Oh yeah, and your car is insanely fast...This is something I am considering if anything ever goes wrong with the flat 6 in mine. Are you glad you did it?

Yeah Bitcoin rules! I'm been aware of it for years but just really started to understand it a few months ago. Glad to hear at least someone on here knows what it is! I'm going to try and get more info out there on it through my channel here. I was going to a few days ago but had some family emergency and haven't had a chance to get back to it so hopefully next week. The car is awesome and quite fast :) I couldn't imagine driving one with a flat 6 in it at this point. Only thing close would be a 2013+ Spyder with 375~ HP and even then while I'm certain it would be a better car then mine, I still prefer the V8. It is pretty incredible, plus the noise it makes is pretty awesome. The video doesn't do it justice! Very very glad I did it, really is an amazing car.

That's great man! It's definitely something I'm going to keep in mind. I'm kind of trying to decide whether to move to a 911 at the moment, because the wife won't let me take my 4 yr in my Boxster :) It's either that or get a second car with rear seats and keep the Boxster. I've been investing in BTC since it was around $800(which I thought was really expensive at the time), but yeah, I had been aware of it for years prior to that due to my general distrust of the fed, etc. Wish I would have bought it back when I first heard of it, but hindsight is always 20/20. Anyway, I look forward to more of your videos!

Did you resolve the axle issues? I am thinking about a similar conversion but with a lot more power. I don't mind spending money on axles ONCE, but if the angle is going to consistently kill them that will be an issue!
@random8166 жыл бұрын
It really wasn't an angle issue as much as it was a length issue, I ended up installing spacers in between the transmission and axles which are Porsche factory parts from a 996 Automatic transmission and that pretty much took care of it. The broken axle at the track was mostly due to just being a cheap axle (like $100 cheap) and I was launching the car pretty hard, around 4K RPM+. If you want to do it right and do it once, contact "The Driveshaft Shop" who I believe are in North Carolina. They build axles which are capable of 1000+ HP and should take the worry out of breaking them. Good luck with your build, I'd love to see it when you're done!
