The starter on the Porsche Cayenne V8 models (S, Turbo, and Turbo S) are notorious for being difficult to replace. Its not reeeaaaally all that bad, but there are definitely easier starters to replace than this one! A couple quick notes:
1. battery disconnect is waaaay easier than battery removal
2. 11mm hex socket is a perfect fit for whatever size reverse torx bolt is used to hold the starter on
3. this job provides a great opportunity to practice working with your hands by feel rather than by sight
