Porsche Cayenne Turbo (958) 4.8L - Speedup

Still cold outside and tires are spinning, however the result 0-100 km is about 4,8-5.0 sec.
Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV.
Weather: Dry and 9C.

My 2011 Cayenne S also occasionally misses the shift from 1-2 like this. I changed my Transfer case fluid and it hasn’t happened much since. Car drives significantly better too.

Thanks for sharing this, I have several times complained to Porsche, they just reset gear program, however no success. Will do same. Transfer case oil you mean gearbox oil?

Alexey S. No I meant transfer case oil. The transfer case for the AWD system is incredibly unreliable in these 958s and often cause shifting / slipping problems. Porsche just extended the warranty for all 958 Cayennes to unlimited miles 10 years on the transfer case. I’m not sure why it causes this behavior, but I do know literally just changing the fluid myself helped it significantly.

@@masteralexey I had my transfer case replaced under warranty as after changing the fluid this behavior came back sometime later. It’s been a month or two now and it drives perfectly (and I beat the piss out of my Pig).

Hi, it came like that from the factory. Red safety belts, "Sport chrono clocks" and dashboard all are in red.

Aggressive driving is 30-50 L/100km. Talking about normal driving in the city 23-27 L. Outside of the city with no traffic I saw one time 9.2L at speed 60-90 (purposely attempted to reach absolute minimum) used cruise control. Otherwise 12-13 L at steady speed of 120-150 On highways.

Вы про наддув турбин? Я максимум 0,7 бар видел, думаю тут все рассчитано инженерами Porsche 😅 У коробки и мотора запас есть, думаю прошивками можно увеличивать
