A small point of pedantry - the 0-60 on the GTS is 3.5secs. The 2.6sec number is for the Turbo S version. I'd say 3.5 is enough though....

That is the dilemma, not much point in fast cars. You can't speed really anywhere. I have a fast petrol car that I have hardly ever put my foot to the floor. Cars are getting faster and speeds on the roads are getting slower.

Lee instead of getting all excited over how quickly it gets to sixty wouldn`t it be better to be more critical of that aspect and be asking why not lower the performance and instead focus on range ? As range anxiety is probably the number one issue with owning an electric car it seems to me to be a no brainer. Also the tyres may last longer and you know all about that!

So Lee, faster, more expensive and even slower than Geoffs Diesel Beemer Le to J'og! 🤣🤣🤣🤣On the upside I had a Mk2 Escort in a similar green and liked it!....The steering wheel is trimmed in Alcantara, and the head up display is great to use I'd say as on mine I get sat nav directions too and means you can concentrate on the road more and wouldn't want to drive that GTS in snow and ice! 😵😵
