The pac is my fave. I am willing to splurge as I do so rarely and usually am splurging on someone else. A treat for myself here and there is well deserved given how hard I work! Cheers!!

Great review! I cracked my bottle a few weeks ago, I've had some drams...what can I say, just an amazing whisky. One can't go wrong with Port Charlotte, never dissapointed so far. Looking forward to crack my new 10yo, it's been a while now, also looking forward to my PAC, and hoping to get my hands on the PMC. Regarding adding water, I always try the whisky neat first, then I always experiment with water to see what the whisky have to offer. And most of the times the whisky gets better/different with water, sometimes just a few drops, sometimes a full teaspoon or more, depending on the whisky, but not always on the %abv. I've had a few low %abv whisky that really gets better with a few dops of water, strangely enough.Cheers

Indeed, a couple of drop of water can help open up the whisky Just reviewed The HP CS and the Aberlour and a couple of drops made a big diffidence

As I understand it, the letters indicate the cask type: SC is for S[auternes] C[ask] and PAC is for Pa[uillac] C[ask] etc.

I love this expression. For the enjoyment and exploration as I sip a dram, I find it is well worth the price. Lagavulins are my favourite (to me there is no bad Lagavulin - delicious) but this expression is lovely as well. I usually pick up the heavily peated expression for $110.00 Canadian and it's worth it but this one is a treat I can justify giving to myself. I don't splurge on much and am pretty careful fiscally - anyone raising a family knows how expensive it is!! - we all deserve a treat here and there. I do wish I could hear the video better. It was really difficult to hear what was being said. I have checked my laptop and the volume is fine. Not sure what's wrong. Thanks for the video. Cheers.

A very tempting release I haven't tried yet...and hesitated because I have an almost 2 times older expression with possibly the same recipe & it was expensive, but, we'll see, who knows ? ( a hard to find one here now; that said), Cheers !

I would definitely buy it if I bought one bottle every 3 months. But I buy way too many as it is to do a review.
