Looks great for lighter kayaks like you said. I would suggest somehow you fasten the tires in the milk? Crate so if you dump the Kayak And don’t lose the tires

Small boats sure can be easy to manipulate. You can lift them with no problem and explore places a larger hull could not. They take less water but also less gear/passengers/etc. But there is a place for them and I bet you are glad you have your small kayak as I am glad I have a small jon boat.

Some people recommend r-clips to replace the oem clips that tend to fall off. Impressed with the load capacity of your cart, mine is only a 100lbs.

Kayak/canoe carts worth their weight for any length of travel. Crap, I've even put garden soil in canoe to move it to the back yard.. 😂 Steve, have you or seen anyone having a dinghy for their kayak? I've like to tow additiona fishing supplies behind me and leave or tie off until additional supplies needed. Suppose I could wrap an ice fishing sled with pool noodles for a cheap dinghy. I'm not sure how a square front would track. If having a somewhat / sort of base camp on the water makes sense.
