Yes, this Vevor Heavy Duty Kayak cart is very nice, love it. I saved about $160 over the Wilderness Systems cart which is basically the same cart just $160 less. The Vevor cart has no problem carrying my Old Town 120 PDL.

I’m glad you like it…I’m impressed with it even after multiple fishing trips..

Hey there can I ask if you still have this and it works great, didn't break?

There’s nothing better after a long hard day then finding a nice comfy patch of grass, pouring myself a tall glass of Everclear, and fading out to the newest video from @kayakfishingkansan.

Just bought this on Amazon with the beach wheels for 82 bucks. I paid 240 for the wilderness cart a couple years ago and I have nothing to justify that price.

Has it worked well for you?

@ It’s worked so well I sold my wilderness cart. Quality wise it’s very similar and the kickstand is such a difference maker. I don’t really need the beach wheels but I figured why not at this price. I use it on my Old Town 106

Just purchased my first kayak and I bought this cart here and got it together but it doesn’t say anything about the straps. Do you just attach it anywhere on the cart but not sure how it’s going to go over the kayak then back to the strap to cinch it up. Any clues on how to strap it down?
@KayakFishingKansan3 ай бұрын
I typically run the straps through center of both support racks, that the Kayak Sits On. I did upgrade to some heavier straps afterwards.

I've been using it for several months. Generally happy. One problem: I roll the kayak and cart into the water. The wheels float making it difficult to lift the kayak off the cart. As I lift the kayak the cart floats up against the bottom of the kayak. Similar problem when loading. I roll the cart into the water next to the kayak. The cart wheels float making it difficult to position the kayak on the cart. Ideas?

Tie a rope to the cart and to the kayak. Roll both into the water and hold onto the ropes. Once the kayak starts floating you should be able to pull the cart out using the rope.

@@NoFro-TL Yeah I tried it with straps. The problem is that when the kayak floats the cart floats up under the kayak. When the cart floats (the wheels) you can't simply pull it out.

Are you able to store in on the kayak or do you have to leave your kayak to put it back in your vehicle?
@KayakFishingKansan6 ай бұрын
@@BruceBurch-l4v sorry for the delayed response. No I don’t store it on my kayak when I’m in the water, I always put it back in my vehicle. They have permanently attached systems, but they’re extremely high priced. My vehicle is typically really close to where I put my kayak in the water…

I dont want to be "that guy", but the photo of your kayak on the cart has the cart way too far back. If you position the cart almost center (of weight, not necessarily length), to where it just barely tips to the front, youll have the cart carrying almost all of weight, making it even easier to move around.

Yah I appreciate that, I’ve slowly started to figure that out, typically when I’m actually using the kayak cart, at the lake it’s much farther up underneath the kayak
