@SolarEngineering With the 2 strings (high and low) did you use the apsmart single core or dual core transmitter? Or can a single core accommodate both positive wires from the 2 strings? TIA
@SolarEngineering3 күн бұрын
yes, you can pass it trough one single core.

I’m doing a near identical install…question…. Did you ground the DPU inverter? Also, did you ground the entire roof array to the SHP2 which is grounded to main panel?
@SolarEngineeringАй бұрын
check 5:16 there 6awg bare copper wire for ground

How did you configure the SHP2/DPU combo to accept the solar charge in addition of the grid charging?
@SolarEngineering4 ай бұрын
Owner did configure unit, so I'm not sure about grid charging

@@SolarEngineeringThank you. Interested to figure out what settings they used as I have challenges with mine. If I schedule a charging task (for example at night when electricity is cheaper), I cannot set a target charge, so it will charge to max charging value. As a result when the solar panels first come online, no charging will take place, because the batteries are already at max charge value. Aka you can't charge your batteries overnight to X% and set top the batteries from X% to 100% with solar. You have to change the value of max charge, twice a day (before you go bed and before the sun comes out).

@@fr3nchy69 This is something you can suggest to EcoFlow to manage the max charge via their app.

Where are you located? I have a Ecoflow Ultra Pro too. I would like a quote for similar installation if you are near?

I would never use one of these low surge, short lived, high frequency, ecoflows to power my home. They offer a poorer surge capacity, and a shorter life expectancy than real inverters that use low frequency, tansformer based inverter technology.
@meilyn223 ай бұрын
Here we are again with another comment about inverters. Get a job man.

Its a shame the customer wasted their money on that ridiculously overpriced and underpowered EcoFlow garbage.
@beidlern3 ай бұрын
Sounds like competitor mentality. Never say never and there’s a fit somewhere in this world or they wouldn’t invest millions into development. Thank you Costco🤓

@@beidlern It's called common sense mentality. And with so few people having it, why not invest millions in development...

@URackADiscipline what do you mean by "overpriced and underpowered". Planning to install a solar system but don't know much about. Any input would be great.
