Thanks for the review Wade, I was just starting to look for a reliable power station, due to intermittent power outages lately. I will check this one out and watch your other videos on power stations again, before I make a decision. Cheers my friend! 12:43

You can charge with solar and ac together to lower the charge time to just 1 hour on this unit too. Not a bad little battery 👍

@@Woodswalker1965 guy in the white lab coat has the measuring tools, hobo tech? And of course Will Prowse. There is another guy who takes devices like inverters apart.i also like electrical guys that repair tools and devices , they show what goes wrong and how reliable/unreliable something is. Bt actual experience tests like yours are useful/practical.unboxing only really shows what a product looks like and whats included. You added a quick review at the start which is good. What most miss that you did was a closeup of the devices spec label, like what I thexwattage. I use that. Another useful thing to keep in mind is a spec label printed on power bricks when they are present.

@@alutious Some very good points for sure. The power brick issue is important when pairing it with a particular device and should be kept in order. Thanks again👊

Thank you for a good review. Have you tried to run non-inverter refrigerator? I’m wondering will this thing start its compressor.

I haven’t tried it yet. It may run a large friend depending on the wattage required. Each fridge would vary of course. 👍

Great Video. Thanks. I think this unit will work for me. Just need it for a shed to run some LED lighting and charge my DeWalt 20v batteries. Thoughts?

My Makita Dual Rapid charger is rated at max 460W input, so you should have no problems. Check on the bottom of your Dewalt charger for the Input watts..... LED's are usually 6W/bulb, or 4' strips around 50w.

This is not as noisy as some since there isn’t a charging brick. Pretty low noise actually.

Am from Canada and I take it because of the 10 %. He got so many choice. Oh and after, I see the VDL PS0800 (probably older thech) from the same manifacturer at 50%. That mean around 80$ less. I still love more Aferiy more actuel , better garanti and you confort me in my choice 😅 Hard choice but i think, i will keep Aferiy

Nice real world review. Interesting that it seems to limit around 845W when the rating for peak is 1600w. I wonder if the 845w could be passed if using a tool like a skill saw that would cause a surge draw at start-up? I have one of these on order and will report back here if not already done in the next week or two.

OK, so I ran both my Makita 15Amp circular saw no problem with this unit, mind you, it was not a "Hard start" as I thought. Then I tried my 10" Dewalt Miter saw and again, it ran just fine drawing around 700 watts. It was a harder start but I never saw to the eye anything over 800 watts. So this unit should run most power tools. It would not run my table saw with a 1 3/4 HP motor, which was not a surprise to me. (Just had to try and see as I was so impressed how it managed with the two smaller saws). I also bought the 1200 watt version of this, and I will try the table saw with it and report back for anyone interested. Of note, there are many videos on "Daisy chaining" units together to increase the Watt hours of run time to your system, and I have done this feeding the smaller unit into the larger one. (Makes and models don't matter). One key thing to do it most efficiently is to use the "DC" output to feed the master unit, as using the DC output does not use the inverter in the feeding unit which would consume roughly 15% of that untis battery power.

@@spencerrs-e2g Thank you for the info! That’s impressive and useful to me and I’m sure to others as well. I’ll have to attempt the daisy chain with mine.👍

OK, tried the 1200 Watt unit with my Sawstop 1.75HP table saw and it would not run it. I think it will run a normal table saw of the same size, but the Sawstop has an electrical control box to run the safety system as well, and I think it is very voltage sensitive. These back-up battery units generally put out 110 volts, not 120V, and I think that is the issue vs. the actual wattage power. That is why I think this unit, and maybe even the 800 watt unit will run a normal 1.75HP table saw. Putting a Kill-a-watt meter on my Sawstop showed startup watts of only 723W with house AC, and 650 running with no load, so both units should run a normal table saw, however not for a long time. Not something you would want to waste your back-up battery on either, but for those that might be doing a build off-grid this may be helpful. @@Woodswalker1965
