That's the thing too. Music is improvised not planned. It's hard to make music when you've exhausted your creativity. You could probably play an instrument and see what happens but if that's all you do, you'll eventually just run out of things to work with. That's why I take a break from time to time from making music and come back to it a different time. You gotta let your creativity recharge.

Please don't ever consider that... you're in NO way less talented. Talent is one thing, work and effort is another thing. Literally everyone's stuff sounds mediocre at the beginning, no one starts out as a pro, no matter what their profession is. Maybe there are people who tell you you lack talent, whatever, don't listen to them. Giving up guarantees you'll go nowhere, 100 %. But if you keep going, you WILL find something comforting eventually. So hang in there :)
