it is a great explanation. but I wonder when IBM sold the PC business and Lenovo was the acquirer, does this mean Lenovo did not understand businesses.

Great question! It appears from history that Lenovo knew what they were doing. They must have known that they had a resource or capability that would make their entry into their industry more profitable for them than it was for IBM (most likely due to cost leadership)
