Does the Portfolio vs Index performance graph take into account the dividends we receive? I'm new to the channel, so can you tell me the differences between depositing and withdrawing cash and so on to be sure? Is this tracker up to date? Hello! Dividends are taken into account as long as they are reinvested and therefore increase the number of shares. Depositing and withdrawing cash in the transactions basically applies for the account balances calculations. Please let me know if you have any further questions, always happy to help. Cheers!

I just build this as an extension to the original stock portfolio tracker. However lets say I sell full out of an stock, then the “total P/L” drops with the profit I made from that stock. If it should be right it should still keep the profit made from it before sold added to the total P/L. Do you have any solutions for this?

Yes, if you fully sell out a stock the stock technically disappears from the list. A solution for this would be to track the account balances and how they increase particularly from capital gains. Will keep this feature request into account for the next one.

I am looking for a great spreadsheet to track my investments across multiple platforms. I just started watching your videos and is very impressed with you do. I like some features of the performance tracker (except the 10 stock limit) and I like the portfolio tracker a lot. Are you planning to combine the performance tracker with the portfolio tracker? If that is not in your plans, what is the concern that prohibit you from doing so. It is more user friendly to see all in 1 spreadsheet instead of opening (and updating) multiple spreadsheet. Thanks.

Hi Paul, thanks so much for your comment. I really appreciate it. Yes, I am planning to release a Portfolio Tracker that includes this "performance over time" feature. It will be less complex to be able to fit more investments but the feature will be there. The reason it is complex is the number of prices it historically fetches on a running basis for multiple investments. Additionally, I included many other statistics like P/L and currency conversions so this made it even slower. The one in the upcoming improved tracker will need to be simpler. Cheers!

Do you have an expected release date of the new portfolio tracker? Which one should I start with for now or I should wait for the new version to come out? Thanks!

@@paulchan8369 Hey, the new portfolio tracker will most likely include more inputs but the ones you're entering already will be relevant. Whenever I change the layout of a tracker in a future version I always recommend to just copy by column and paste in the required space of the new one. Shouldn't take too long when transitioning to the new one. Expected release is November.
