Portland raccoon goes viral after being caught on trail cam

Last July, my backyard trail camera in Southeast Portland’s Foster-Powell neighborhood captured a dexterous raccoon along a fenceline unraveling an old clothesline that tied up in its pathway and then securing it out of the way in above tree branches.
The raccoon, which was later dubbed Knottingham by KZbin viewers, has received nearly 400,000 views on KZbin and been played more than 500,000 times on Facebook. It’s also found on several other social platforms.
