Welcome to Porto Covo and A&A Travelling. This small fishing village located along the western Alentejo coast, is about 170 km south of Lisbon. Now days the village`s economy is driven by tourism, since it has become a popular weekend getaway spot during the summer months.
Nowadays the village gets really busy during the summer holidays with the population increasing by ten times. During the winter months Porto Covo is very much like it was before the tourist boom.
The biggest draw to the village is probably the many awesome sandy beaches in and around Porto Covo, the great food and the regions excellent wines. The closest and most popular beach is Praia dos Buizinhos, Praia do Banho and Praia Grande.
If you enjoy hiking, Porto Covo is one of Europe`s best known long-distance trails - The Rota Vincentina.
