Materials used:
• Oil paints - "Nevskaya palitra"
• Frosted acrylic panel
• Paint thinner (odorless mineral spirits)
• Medium (stand linseed oil)
• Brushes - round detail brushes in sizes 1, 0 and 00; and synthetic filbert brushes in different sizes.
• Glass palette (homemade)
• Palette knife (from a local art-store)
• Paper towels (or tissues that I use to wipe the brushes)

I love this piece, the skin is so soft, subtle, and the whole piece blasts me away but the overall smoothness controls me from blasting off into space, so many details were put, but they all blend together... in a good way, it’s very hard to explain,

I’m lost for words on how beautiful this painting/process is. It’s so incredible how u can go from a blank canvas to this stunning painting that looks like a photograph. This is a God’s gift he has gave u. Beautiful job

When I see someone start work on a totally blank canvas, one without even so much as a sketch to start with, then create a true masterpiece, it makes me want to chop off my hands at the wrist and give up my feeble attempts at painting! It hardly seems fair that any one person should be allowed to have this much talent. How amazing to watch a true master at work.

Looks amazing! I see you are very detail oriented. I am a begginer artist and i have difficulties to understand how you manage to go from this small areas to larger ones when you model the form of light.
