Great vlog guys. Never used this ferry crossing so was really interesting to see what it’s like. Poor Gary, what a soldier he was getting through that journey with man flu, he was very lucky to have the wonderful Nurse Julia Ratched caring for him.

Hi thanks for the entertaining and very informative vlog, loved it. If you've ever sailed in the Irish Sea you'll know a rough crossing isn't rough unless you hear the 'boom' of the waves reverting against the side of the ferry, everything creaking and groaning (me included!) and the sound of passengers dropping like fries being sick (again me included 😆). Poor Gary, had to feel for him in those conditions being ill. He looked really pale, especially in all the white. Hope you're now settled back with some nice weather. We've just had one storm after another 😑

We’ve exact same trip from Portsmouth- Santander same ship beginning Jan drove down to Javèa until end March 🙌🏻 had amazing weather in jan so far 💙 was a choppy crossing though 🤢.. we got a club room with access to the club lounge all drinks and snacks complimentary 🤗

@@paulsmith3338 no problem, it cost us £1,300 return for 4 berth window cabin. There are some slightly cheaper options but it's always over 1k. But we did work out there wasn't too much in it going through France and paying for tolls, fuel, Aires etc, plus a few less miles on the van!!

I thought it was nice to see some red in Gary's cheeks just before you said he was feeling poorly again. We sail from Porstmouth to Caen 5 hour daylight ferry, did Santander once eachway never again! Interesting watching your journey as we have only ferried to France - out of interest what did the journey cost?

Hi Barbara, our return journey was £1,300 for a 7.5m motorhome and 2 adults in a 4 berth window cabin. It works out fairly similar to driving through France with tolls, fuel, overnight parking etc Hope that helps 🥰
