Not sure Mike does want Cov, or he could have bought it. When the new investor bought a chunk of the club, there wasn’t a peep from Mike and he could have got a really cheap controlling share. I suspect he just wants match day revenue, the owner of the stadium will make money off any food and drink at the stadium, plus any other events e.g concerts, exhibitions, conferencing and other sports events (it’s hosted Rugby, Bowling, Snooker and I believe some others like various Martial Arts) As you’ll have noticed there’s also a large shopping park attached so I suspect he’ll probably try to launch more retail in the area
