There's a great viewpoint from Castelo San Jorge from where you can see the whole city centre andget some bearings (and the castle is stunning), but realistically you haven't got a hope of seeing everything in a day. It's lovely around the squares and side streets where you are, and Bario Alto too. The cathedral is a day on it own really but that's a beautiful place. Enjoy it, it's a beautiful place, and the Portuguese people are lovely.

Lisbon is beautiful have very good memories. My wife has alot of family that live there! Haven't been for 11 years but funny enough we are planning to go out for Christmas this year! Hope you enjoy Kev! Stay safe and watch your pockets because the lifters in Lisbon are like octopus magicians!

Hi kevin I was in Lisbon a few years ago and it's very nice. Your not too far from the harbour were the ships come into. In the back streets there is plenty of local restaurants. Anyway I'm guessing you'll find your way around.

Hi wee man, I've never been to Portugal so I can't comment I enjoyed your earlier Algarve trip and Lisbon is more the real deal. Some friends have done Porto and Lisbon as city breaks and really enjoyed them both. Sadly I would be overdosing on the custard tarts 😂 and apparently the Tesco ones don't compare. Hope your Chinese bazar sox survive 😊 Cheers DougT
