as far as I'm concerned this is the best quality golf content available on youtube that I've found...and I've been searching a lot ;) Few better camera angles and "calmer shots" and this will be golden. Good work guys... much appreciated!

Good stuff as always. That tiny hip bump has been the hardest thing to implement from the lesson. It creates an awkward feeling of my chest swaying, pointing down towards the ground behind me. It also creates a hook for me. I've been working on everything else and hitting the ball great, thanks for that! Will keep working on that hip bump until it feels right!

Just 'unsubscribed' from some other YT instructors and will be using your vids going forward. As a 53 yr old with less flexibility, I struggle with being laid off in the backswing. Watching just a couple of your videos has gotten my hands much higher. And the hip bump.....game changer! Wish I'd found you sooner, but still glad I found you. Keep up the good work

These check points are great and I know they will help me,and your student. A quick one tho,I notice when you address the ball you don't flare your lead foot at all,is this because you have better flexibility? Great video..cheers

What’s the purpose of the hip bump? I feel like my hands go deeper in the back swing with the bump.
@PorzakGolf
@PorzakGolf 2 жыл бұрын
It's an anchor point to swing around, it helps keep you centered with the right angles. It's only an inch, so it's subtle, make sure you don't over do it!

Was that the great Gabriel Writer you were talking to? lol If so, he helped change my golf game in a big time way with one subtle movement at setup, he’s not aware of that but that’s alright. Enjoy the videos, lots of important information here. It’s wild that this kid is a scratch golfer after a year. 🤯

Adam do you use the hip bump on all your setups driver and irons ?????
@stevewherry6205
@stevewherry6205 3 жыл бұрын
Adam great vid, question for you on the hip bump, how far down the bag do you want to do a hip bump? stop at wedges? i do it from driver down the irons and it feels powerful, but i wary of doing it with wedges as i feel it drops my right shoulder too much?
@PorzakGolf
@PorzakGolf 3 жыл бұрын
With your wedges, your stance should be much narrower. When you do the hip bump then it should put more weight on the lead foot then the back foot, which is what you want for wedges. Adam talks exactly about this in Monday's video coming up. Watch monday's vid and you will know what I mean. - Gabe p.s. The hip bump is subtle, only an inch.

Setup is the main thing I’ve been focusing on lately. When I’m setup properly I hit a good golf shot 90% of the time. What I struggle with is picking and keeping my intermediate target as I approach the ball. Do you think having poor vision could be making this more difficult than it should be?
@PorzakGolf
@PorzakGolf 2 жыл бұрын
It certainly could be a factor…. Also your process… keep your eye on your intermediate target as you walk into the shot, make sure your get you Clubface set to your intermediate target then build your setup around the club. Check out Jack back in ‘86 instagram.com/p/B1855DJl2F-/?

Ball position: are you recommended constant position or varied position based on iron?
@PorzakGolf

It will range from the middle of your sternum to the outside of your left shoulder from pitching wedge to driver…. A little more forward is often better than a little more back
