Poshmark BOOT Packaging: Comparing 4 Sellers

I don't know if everyone knows this but you can actually order free Priority Mail boxes in a variety of sizes from USPS! They ship to you for free as well! I just recently ordered three different sizes, one for shoes (it literally says "shoebox" on the option), one for jeans/jackets, and one for bundles. They are different than the flat rate boxes that you can pick up at the actual post office. And sometimes USPS is finicky about accepting Poshmark orders that are shipped in flat rate boxes so this avoids the hassle altogether!

Love this series! I am a new Poshmark reseller and this video was so helpful to me. I had not listed boots because I was anxious about how to package them. I am like you and don’t require any frills as a buyer, but I know that many buyers get upset if their package doesn’t live up to their expectations. Thank you Kristi! That is actually one reason I created my channel. I kept searching for videos about Poshmark and almost all the videos were clothing hauls! Don't get my wrong, I love clothing hauls but I prefer that they are mixed in with other videos!

@@AmberResellsHey! If I don't have the original box I use those plastic bags to protect the shoes and wrap them in tissue paper. Another option I use is the cotton case bags to prevent the shoes/boots from rubbing together. Now, if I'm out of both type bags I wrap in tissue wrap paper.

there's a shoe box long and u can fold boots if it's fabric or good material Never go with out show boxes

I always wonder what people think when they open my packages. I put a lot of effort into packaging. I do recycle boxes. My goal is to make the buyer feel like they have received a present and to keep the shoes from moving around in the box so they don't get damaged in shipping. @ittybittypretty

Don't worry about them giving you a bad ratingt ,if they want it gift wrapped they should pay for it😂😀😁.I ordered things from ebay and was just happy that i got it and nobody stole it.As long as it's not damaged and it get to you in a timely manner what's the big deal.Too many people put to much time into packing if your in a factory it's about production. The post office is getting rich off us because of the postage,that extra money can go to feeding the homeless.

Wow... no. USPS is most definitely not getting rich. They have massive fixed costs--over 600k employees, billions in yearly retirement benefits, huge infrastructure to maintain, fuel costs, etc. Have you not heard about how they've been barely staying afloat the last two decades?

@@educationispower9698 USPS is not quite a government agency, as it is independently run. Common misconception. They have legal obligations that FedEx, UPS, and others don't have. There's certainly room for improvement, but let's keep it fact-based and fair.

The post office is making plenty of money, it cost me $4.50 to mail my income tax regular mail.They always cry broke when they want to raise prices,just like the state taxes they always cry broke when the want to raise taxes same old thing.

@@cookiee5272 If only the USPS, which is actually more productive and efficient than ever, didn't have to fork over all that profit and more for growing infrastructure costs outside of their control, unnecessary legislative mandates, etc. One of the biggest reasons the USPS is consistently losing money is that since the mid-00s, they've been forced to prefund worker's pensions and health care for 75 YEARS. That's $5-6 billion annually. They have to cover the health costs of future employees who aren't even born yet. No other entity has ever been required to do such a thing because, of course, it's bonkers. So if you want to place blame somewhere for the USPS' struggles, look no further than Congress.
