I’m glad to see you again. 🙂 We had a custom headboard made to JUST fit under the window. I swapped out my chest of drawers to a secretary. Works great and I can no longer leave a pile of laundry on top. Win/win.

Whenever you do these breaking down of what may be wrong with a room it suddenly becomes so obvious, whereas before I know something is off but I can't quite tell what it is. If I redo my spaces I'll definitely have a look at your suggestions to spend my money wisely.

So nice to see you back here on KZbin! You had me checking out my bedroom with this one! It looks like I'm doing something right. The bed is in proportion to the size of the room... headboard just the right size... nightstands and lamps matching, the proper size/height , but don't match the dresser. Above all, it's calm and not fussy. Lucky for my husband, I have never been into ruffles. I really enjoy your videos. ❤

Husband 6’3” & I’m 5’10”…we have to have a king size and we were also active duty military and we moved over 15 times in 22 years. Our bedroom always seemed to be the least designed room & often military quarters bedrooms were small.

I thought you were Posh Pennies. With nightstands in a bedroom full of square box furniture, the nightstand is the only place to add curves and interest in the forms. Oval, round, half-moon, nightstands are always great to break up the "warehouse look". Also a round club chair helps, just something that doesn't look like a box.

I don't see a rug "under" the bed as necessary. You have to vacuum it, which is difficult if it's a king size and as you age. Jyst put a substantial area rug or foot rug on euther side of the bed.
@allalala99163 ай бұрын
I totally agree with you. We have carpet and I can only convince my husband every three month to help me move the mattresses so that I can do a good vacuum under the bed.
@thespace29833 ай бұрын
I agree 💯I use runners on the sides instead. I can easily vacuum them and just swiff under the bed. So much easier to clean.

Our bedroom is 8x12. I would be fine with a full size bed (4’10” tall) but my husband needs at least a queen for the extra length as he is over 6’ tall.
