3:47 At least it is funny and not sterile and has a bit of taste and personality.

Simply a return to our white heritage design traditions. Colonial, Georgian, Tudor, Victorian, English Country, French Country. They are cosy because they are our comfort, colors, patterns, symbols, details, and art

I didn’t know my decor had a name? I just always wanted to live in a library. My house is a little more gothic and Victorian but the aesthetic is the same, I have also included a few pagan items in my design, it works well, you can also draw on your love of gothic literature when choosing art or ornament, and steam punk ,flows quite well. I have a lot of the things you mention but thought I may add a couple of my own ideas, I have a couple of old leather hat boxes for storing miscellaneous items, and a wooden travel trunk, a leather footstool from India art deco style lamps, a cuthulu statue, brass candlesticks, lots of little wooden trinket boxes, a floor vase full of faux peacock feathers, and don’t forget your incense!

It took me a minute to find you since you changed the name of your channel. Thank you for this interesting look at 2025 interior design trends! I will always love the timeless dark wood and light-coloured paint combo. I can live with this design for a long time. Trends get old and then feel outdated, putting one on the updating treadmill.

I have that velvet set on my bed although I used more and a wide variety of jewel tones, including saffron. I don't care for boucle at all but lavish crushed silk curtains accent the room well. Color drenched in the mid-toned purple, autumnal orchid by Sherwin Williams.

Stop making all your home design decisions based on resale value!! You are going to live in your house too. Enjoy it. Treat your home like your home. Find other ways to invest money.

I say this respectfully, you can also make your home look expensive for less there are videos on that. I agree with sometimes investing and splashing out if you can, realistically, not everyone has that amount of money, or is earning big amounts. Good video, my only criticism is I wish it was more realistic and relatable for all. ❤

If you have antique cherry furniture that you don't know what to do with, as they made a lot of it in the 1700s and 1800s, Light Academia is a really good solution to make it shine. I saw a lot of wood furniture in these photos that resembled cherry. Real antique cherry wood is beautiful, but everyone thinks of the fake overly red stained cherry of the 1980s.

Everyone likes to dump on boob lights, but are we really sure other light fixtures look that much better? Like 3:00. Are those really all that better? Sure there are cheap, basic boob lights, but some of them have a certain amount of character. Why is it that a light being round and semi-spherical automatically makes it worse that any other shape?

I prefer my own academia decor style between light & dark moodiness for my library study. If it’s too light it’s a distraction for me to write, study, read, etc. I need a combination of coziness and a dark broody atmosphere.

Impressive video showcasing cladding options! One suggestion consider featuring natural stone cladding designs for a more luxurious and durable appeal. Stone cladding adds an elegant touch to any space and is worth exploring. Also, feel free to check out my KZbin channel for creative stone cladding designs and inspiration. Keep it up.

Thank you for the GREAT Tips! I LOVED the pic where the Tapestry was Hung behind the Bed! And I thought I was the Only One doing that. 🤔😂LOL I have Small Bedrooms in my Home and I went with the circular, fan-light-chandelier combo versus the Paddle Fans and we LOVE them. Question: Carpet on top of a Carpet? ...what is your take on that??
