I had no idea you could Lamanat Napkins! After watching your video I decided to give it a try. I only had regular Lamanating Pouches so that's what I used. I really loved it. But as I set there staring at it I remember something I learned when I was a child. So I wet the back of the Lamanated Napkin with water, took a damp washcloth and rubbed all the Napkin paper off of, it made an even more transparent designed Vellum sheet! I can't wait until I get some Matte Lamanating Sheets to try it out on!

I cannot thank you enough for doing this video! I bought a laminator and tried the matte pouches and OMG, the results are amazing! You're absolutely right - the texture is amazing. It's not that "obviously been laminated" glossy look, but it's a subtle sheen. This is what has been missing from my life! My paper crafts are going to look professional now thanks to you. Also clear contact paper. In the US you can get a roll at the dollar stores. I adhere the contact paper to the object and feed it through the laminator between 2 sheets of copy paper. Very much the same as you're doing here. Contact paper might be a bit lighter weight. I had never thought of a single side of the pouch. Great idea.

To use U.S. letter size (8 1/2 x 11) on the cute pink bag, score long side at 5" and 6" and short side at 1" and 7 1/2". I used a circle die that was small than 2" since I wanted the bag to be able to easily accommodate a gift card.

I have found all your tutorials on Laminating very interesting, however I have had a lot of problems when using dies to cut out from the laminated paper. The laminate paper lifts off. I tried using the iron, sadly that doesn't work very well either. Do you have any tricks or hacks so it works for me. You are a great teacher
@PositivelyPapercraft4 жыл бұрын
Yes just run it back through the laminator between two pieces of paper and it re seals it
