I watched The Reef in March too! I actually did like it more than you did but the biggest aspect I praise the movie for is not using a CGI shark but instead real shark footage. I also like that the sharks behavior wasn’t outlandish and I felt like the movie had a good amount of suspense (I like swimming in the water sometimes at the beach so I definitely felt the dread during those POV shots). The Blackcoats daughter is really good but sooo haunting😳

I quite enjoyed Downsizing. It was unique and quirky. I gave it a 3.5. Saw 3 is my favorite especially with the editing. I have also watched three of your recommendations in April. Here was my March 2021 List and my Letterboxd ratings. 1) I Care A Lot - 3 2) Shriek of the Mutilated - 1.5 3) Dead & Buried - 3.5 4) You're Next - 3 5) Ju-on: The Grudge - 4.5 - This is the original Japanese version and just wow. 6) C.H.U.D. - 3 7) The Stuff - 3.5 - Utterly ridiculous take on consumerism. 8) Death Ship - 3.5 - Better than you would think. 9) Ghostkeeper - 2 - Great setup. Disappointing playout. 10) 1BR - 3 - The nails. Arrgghg. 11) Terror Train - 3.5 Classic slasher film. 12) Freaks (2018) - 4 - Mix of Sci-Fi and Horror. Surprise gem for me. 13) The Smurfs - 3 14) Chaos Walking - 3.5 - Three Books crammed into one movie. 15) Island of the Fishermen- 3.5 16) Willow Creek - 2.5 17) Into The Woods ( Not the musical.) - 1, Dreadful 18) The Paramedic- 2.5 - Decent thriller. 19) Hit and Run - (2009) - 2 20) Zack Synder's Justice League - 4 - Get your Geek on. 21) The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue - 2.5 - Very English. 22) The Black Belly of the Tarantula - 3 - Early 70's horror. I thought the killer was obvious. 23) Savage Weekend - 2 24) The Alien Dead - 1 - Buster Crabbe's last film. Noooo. 25) The Company of Wolves- 4 Quite a creative Anthology horror flick.
