I’ve personally have given away my multiple bottles of Stoner Glass Cleaner because I’ve found that most of the Rinseless washes do a good or better job than Stoner. And it’s one less speciality bottle I have to keep track of it. The trick is using a sponge to wipe the glass with the rinseless solution so it traps some of the dirt first. And then wipe it down with a good drying towel leaves me happy.

Super video Pan. I've been a long-time user of Stoner's Invisible Glass and love the fact that it's very inexpensive and can be purchased at just about any store that I shop in. Although the Bilt Hamber product looks to be superior to Invisible Glass, the very high cost will keep me from purchasing it. Keep up the awesome work.

I think Obey would work in the cold because it is like a dry glaze before you do the microfiber wipe. I can’t wait to order Traceless. What are you having problems with? The clean and reach tool by Stoners followed by a waffle weave towel works everytime for me. Less is more when using glass cleaners. Let the microfiber bonnet do the work. I wash my glass towels separately from other towels. Less pressure works better on glass because it has no pores and can't be penatrated. Everything is exactly on the surface. Less product less pressure. 90% of interior front glass funk is from the blower vents (oils, pcbs, and moisture).

This will be nice to use on stuff that has markings on it for a quick clean. But I couldn't use inside mine or most others that have window tinting inside. Due to the alcohol content.
@PanTheOrganizer5 ай бұрын
This is totally safe on tinted windows. I have tinted windows in my cars and don't have an issue with this. I asked the chemist himself, and he says it's 100% safe.

When I bought my bottle ages ago, it came with two microfiber towels from Bilt Hamber, a waffle weave towel and a suede towel. The complete system works brilliantly. The smell is like Pear drop sweets. It's OK, the version 2 which was released a few months ago has less scent as it was pretty potent and over powering. Note, do not spray into lacquer wood- it will strip the lacquer designed for wooden furniture clean off 😇

Just throwing this out there. If you for whatever reason need to just clean the outside glass without washing the exterior, spray your cleaner on the glass, then use a magic eraser, then use the 2 towel method. It works wonders

I'd never try to clean filthy glass with a glass cleaner and I do not see much point in doing so. To my eyes both did a bad job in leaving the glass in a satisfactory condition. Personally I'd rather see a side by side comparison AFTER first washing the car and glass. YES, glass cleaners are really a finisher and I think that is the best way to show how they work and compare. I love your channel Pan, my apologies if my comment is on the negative side but it is my honest feedback. Cheers.

I fully agree with you. You would never clean dirty glass. You'd wash the car first. I only did that extreme case scenario for those who would comment "but can you show how it does on dirty glass?" which I find ridiculous, as nobody should do that... As a glass cleaner, it's the best I have tried so far. Nothing comes close in my opinion.

@PanTheOrganizer29 күн бұрын
You used Bilt Hamber Trace-Less and it left smearing? I never had that issue. Did you wash your car first? Always wash and dry your car, and use the glass cleaner at the end, as a final step. That should solve any streaking or smearing issues that you have.
@61bdelaney6 ай бұрын
I'll stick with the Stoner Glass, seemed the same or slightly better if going by the streaks after the back window wipe off. See no need to replace my 4 bottles of Stoner Glass Spray bottles with a more expensive product like BitHamber that wasn't better in performance. Great testing Pan.......

@@PanTheOrganizer Trying to figure out if you just threw an insult my way? Of course you wouldn't clean dirty glass like that and would wash first, I know that. I knew that was an extreme case scenario. But your results on the glass were almost identical with BH having just a little more streakiness when you tried wiping it off.
@G1275T6 ай бұрын
Interesting test. I think that the pump sprayer version of Invisible would be a more accurate comparison. As for the sharpie, I suspect the BH would impact the durability of a glass coating too, which would not be desirable.
@PanTheOrganizer6 ай бұрын
It doesn’t impact a glass coating. I have a glass coating on both our vehicles and use BH often. Zero change in hydrophobic properties. Pete Hamber (owner and chemist) confirmed that it’s totally safe on coated cars. Coatings have a very high resistance to chemicals.

Interesting test with the sharpie, but one i'd really like to see is how these glass cleaners work on something more oily. I was using solutions trim, restore black and accidentally got some on one of the car windows. Between water, dry cloths, and IPA, it still took me 10 or 15 minutes to clean off. It would be great if these glass cleaners would help in that scenario

Thanks for showing this. I think for the worst case scenario it worked pretty good. I would never clean glass without washing first. Scratch the shit out of the glass doing that. Do you know of any products that act like a coating or protectant for interior tinted windows? Thank you!!!
@PanTheOrganizer5 ай бұрын
Exactly. You would always wash the car first, and use the glass cleaner at the end of the wash process. I wouldn’t use any hydrophobic treatment on the interior glass as with moisture that could cause issues with water dripping from the glass to your dash. The trick with interior glass, especially with the interior part of the windshield, is to degrease the glass before using a glass cleaner.
