Great review! I own this watch. Initially I was a bit underwhelmed, because I’m used to watches with more polished surfaces and shiny ceramic bezels, but after a week of wear it’s become my favorite watch. The proportions are perfect and the finishing is excellent. There’s something about the subtle ways the light plays off the chamfered edges, coin edge, and crystal that is just beautiful. And the colors on the bezel are just right. The one thing San Martin watches need are half links. Even with all the micro adjustments available I can never get a perfect fit.

Ive just bought the off white dial version and it's stunning and it has the quick adjustment bracelet like a Rolex diver not the micro adjustment

Today, just received my first SM, the SN004 blue limited edition. No QC issues. Beyond satisfied. I like the pelican style box, and also like their green tube case. I also like the printed San Martin hexagon logo; in fact, I prefer it over “San Martin” printed on the dial. Wouldn’t mind an applied SM hexagon logo on their dress pieces. Your SM GMT looks amazing. Never owned a GMT; that watch may be my first.

One of my fav watches from SM. Only down side was it didn’t come with a flyadjust clasp so I just swapped it from another bracelet. Now it’s perfect.

Nice detailed review. I have this watch and it is one of my favorites of several San Martin watches. Totally agree that the aluminum bezel insert works perfectly on this watch. I immediately changed my clasp to the on the fly adjust clasp and the added functionality is much more important than the slightly more simple style. I don't have any problem with the logo. I have one San Martin with printed name and it's OK but i don't prefer it. You kind of mentioned that the sharp under edges are not felt while wearing and that really is the case. No one should be scared off by reviewer comments on sharp edges. I mostly wish the edges of the clasp were smoother. As for GMT hand use, on this watch my GMT is set to another time zone since i have relative in Japan. On my traveler GMT watch the GMT is set to home time and the hour to current local time when traveling. Use the GMT hand anyway that helps.

Great review i just received the white dial option with the slip adjustment bracelet only thing is the aluminum bezel i think ill be putting a ceramic one on mine.

Nice review! I agree with you 100% on the bezel inserts. I don't like the shiny ceramic bezel, I like a matt finish. I like aluminum bezels much better. I love the colours they are able to achieve with aluminum.

Great review! This is my favourite San Martin model, but I just never pulled the trigger because of that applied logo. You’re right, it really throws off the dial balance. The new mic sounds much better too!

This watch is great but I think they should’ve kept the lug to lug distance to 47 instead of extending out to 48.5mm. Aside from that, I think it’s also time to have polished case sides to match the polish sides of the bracelet.

I agree that the polished sides would match the bracelet better, but having that on my BB58, that side is covered in scratches

I was just about to buy this or the BB pro in Silver and Black but they dropped the Peligos and had to have it. Arrives Monday and will be my 3rd SM. Beleive SM's own fitted rubber straps work with this model. That would be my choice, a bit more $$ but completes the high end look.

You absolutely hit the nail on the head with that horrible logo. I literally leave this comment on most SM reviews. Not much design effort with the watch design. Makes me wonder if SM can at least design and place a logo at the very least. It shares no geometry and has no visual harmony.

I agree, the logo has to be one of the worst logos out of these Chinese watches and has stopped me from buying at least 3 or 4 or their models, I just could not bring myself to wear it and have to look at it everyday.
