i think schlatt COULD be right. against a german shepherd, it's more likely to do considerable damage if not lethal damage if it DOES get you, but if you're familiar with dogs and have size 13 steel toed boots on, yeah, you could probably put ot down with 1-3 perfectly placed kicks, not that i think schlatt could do such a thing. cats, though, less likely to do immediate lethal damage, more likely to give you diseases/infect your wounds, potentially bringing you down long after you deal with them. realistically, you get one or two of the cats and the rest run away. in the scenario where they will not stop until you are dead, you might have a bigger problem than with the dog if you don't have a weapon
@Beans-nh6ro8 ай бұрын
I'm imagining this in a death match scenerio where they have to fight to the death. I don't think the infection should be part of it since the rabid dog could also give rabies.

Here is a simple thing to consider, that I think everyone is forgetting even on the Reddit. 10 is more than 1, you may be thinking, well of course! Let me explain more. With the dog, you are focused on 1 enemy, you can anticipate his movements and react accordingly, you have the chance to dodge or strike first etc. With the cats, you cannot focus on everything at once, half of them or even 2/3rds of them are not in your vision and will attack you from places you cannot see, when you go to kill the one that did, the rest will attack you. The strength of the animal doesn’t matter when that happens, pick the dog.

30:00 if you want content AND a road trip, I recommend going to Balmorhea, TX. There's a state park out there. It's the middle of nowhere, absolutely nothing to see or do other than a deep, cold oasis full of fish and scuba divers. There's also an observatory over there. Since it's a dark sky community, there's no light pollution, and the sky at night is gorgeous. The main thing keeping me from going back is how far away it is, but if you stay in El Paso, it's only about two hours out.

Justification (also called epistemic justification) is the property of belief that qualifies it as knowledge rather than mere opinion. Epistemology is the study of reasons that someone holds a rationally admissible belief (although the term is also sometimes applied to other propositional attitudes such as doubt). Epistemologists are concerned with various epistemic features of belief, which include the ideas of warrant (a proper justification for holding a belief), knowledge, rationality, and probability, among others. Debates surrounding epistemic justification often involve the structure of justification, including whether there are foundational justified beliefs or whether mere coherence is sufficient for a system of beliefs to qualify as justified. Another major subject of debate is the sources of justification, which might include perceptual experience (the evidence of the senses), reason, and authoritative testimony, among others.

This is my first youtube comment. I just had to agree with schlung on the dog vs cats question. The correct answer is so obviously the dog. Let’s be real, I’m losing either way but there’s no way I’m willingly going out from ten cats, each with 20 little slicers that would be digging into me from every possible angle. You could get lucky vs one dog but luck leaves the equation when you’re dealing with ten individual beasts.

My uncle and great uncle do maintenance on their own busy planes (in northern Canada) and at least here you’re allowed to do maintenance on your own plane. You have to have certification and generally you have to take courses about aircraft maintenance and get an AME license, but there’s also “owner maintenance” where specific maintenance tasks are allowed on general planes. My uncles have their AME licenses and are also all welders/mechanics so they’re generally pretty confident, not sure if I would get in their planes tho personally. Anyway, if it’s similar in the states it’s totally possible to own and maintain your own plane, but getting the license can take like a year or two

20:36 This reminds me of something I saw from Reddit (watched one of those minecraft parkour reddit stories) where a woman was convinced that her husband cheated on her because she contracted it and he also tested positive, but he completely denied it had no idea what she was talking abouit, but they stayed together and went to couples therapy. Then a couple years later she found out that koalas can give it to you just through contact and it dawned on her that during the massive wildfires in Australia _they both rescued koalas_ and then she told him and it was just a mutual _"Ohhhhhh..."_ moment.
