Thank you 👍 I drove an ASL (side loading truck for those that don’t know) when I ran residential back in the day. I enjoyed it very much honestly. I think it’s a great truck for people that are new to the industry to start out in too. I drove an Autocar ACX w/ a Heil Python.

Got hired for front load about 2 months ago and I wish I had seen the “use the forks to mash down a overloaded 6 yarder” sooner!! What kind of light setup is on that Mack? I’m in a 21 Mack with a heil setup pretty close to what you’re running here with old school halogen bulbs and I can’t hardly see in the dark with it. Enjoying picking up tricks from you sir. Happy new year and don’t get packed out lol

How do you know when you are full? No more compaction (Hydraulic Pressure Limit or Compactor Travel Limit) or weight (Scales on Truck) ? My guesses. It may be simpler. Just curious.

It’s a feel thing for me at this point. Some trucks can pack a lot more than others and you can usually tell when the blade starts to take longer to retract when packing. Every now and then you get lucky with an air pocket but typically the blade starts to stay back when packing, you know you’re working with about a hopper or so.
