No way home potential minor spoilers. So when Venom is transported to the MCU, the logic is that he knows Peter is Spider-Man right? Well since he doesn’t have a Peter on his world, I suppose this scene explains that all Venoms across the multiverse share a conscious or subconscious hive mind. So, this Venom likely connected to The Eddy Brock from the Raimi movies and got pulled for that reason.

Watching the Venom 3 trailer, and this post credits scene was all for nothing whatsoever. No connection to Tom Holland or any of the Spider-Men. Unless the inclusion of Curt Connors from TASM means something, and the Venom 3 trailer is hiding a connection to Spider-Man very well. If there turns out to be no payoff here, I'll be very disappointed.

No Way Home Spoiler Alert I didn't mind Venom not having a major role in No Way Home. I guess it would have been cool to see his interaction with the MCU Spider-Man, but this version of Venom is really not my favourite so I'm glad that he didn't have a role in that film. I am however down for whatever direction the MCU is going for with that small drop of the Venom symbiote left behind before Eddie returns to his universe.
