I actually made a little theory that the venom left in the MCU has the hive-mind memories, and that the venom we all know has the memories of venom from Spider man 3, that's why he hates Spider man for some reason,. because the venom in Tobey McGuire's universe wants revenge, which is why he had this immediate rivalry with Tom Holland's Spider man, because he carries those feelings of wanting revenge through the hive-mind, only thing is, I think our Venom doesn't know why he hates Spider man so much, like maybe he knows the memories but he doesn't exactly know why he hates him, it's just an urge to hate him, because I imagine that every symbiote has a different personality, regardless of universe. So now I'm thinking that Tom Holland's Spider man is going to be facing off against a venom and their battle will pretty much be like "What did I ever do to you!?","I don't know, but you suck!"

Ok my take on this venom.. I love him. He has his own full complete personality. He’s funny and cares for eddie. Now while I did like the classics Spider-Man 3 Topher Grace venom, and the black suit.
