Whilst I agree, its is disappointing that with 2 huge nations and continents behind him, at only 20 years old he is not motivated by his God given talent and is talking about other things this early in his career, there are people who would do anything to be half as talented as he is, just slightly disappointing to see this in him.

Mostly Indians cant handle that cause they were all thought that they need to stay humble dont laugh and dont say anything remotely negative in the world and always listen and obey and get mature early in life without a chance to pass the childhood just like a sad image you see in Gukesh as a 17 years old kid.

Ya like Insta and Facebook. There is no one way of living life, it just depends on what one wants out of it and what one wants to do in life. There are millions who are jack of all and masters of none, but the fact remains that no one knows them. People who devote their life to a single thing become experts and achievers and are respected by others. Having different hobbies and interests in life is totally different from being confused about what one wants to do in life.

@@M3N04 because Alireza is a highly intuitive player. The downside of this type of chess player personality is that they are often temperamental and therefore get tilted easily. @@KaranS2022 i do too, he's such an amazing palyer, so did i for alireza when he cried after last round as well! But insulting a talented kid's personality is absured. I always thought india was a big beautiful country with rich culture, some of the indian chess fans are just not good examples it seems!

I can't understand why gukesh crumbles under pressure. Can't believe he was succumbed to time control after being on top of the leader board 😂The same thing happened in Olympiad final round . He crumbled under pressure 😂

Cam feel gukesh...if your opponent outplays you thats another story. But if you lose in time pressure nothing hurts more specially you lose against a poop. All the time alireza was losing but as usual clock helped him. You can either play good chess or fast chess not both.

dont you see the guy has no social skills? genius with a child mental, he will never be a champion because of this. Gukesh in contrary is the right personality for the big guy in the future.

@@piotrek8438I am a big alireza fan but I totally agree with you. And not just lauphing, moving his hands up in the air, and lying on the chair like he is watching tv, etc etc! He genuinely need to spend his money to hire a psycologist in his team instead of buying clothes to not teach him a professional manner but also help him with hin nervous and stress! He also need a coach in his team if there is not any!

@@alikarooni9713 Oh boohoo hating on a guy because he defeated your country mate fair and square. He won his first game. If anything he should be happy and excited. It's not like he's being insulting and negative. So why are you being this negative? Just because he defeated your favourite player?
