They should’ve told us that they’re not giving us third kids in the beginning of sizzle season when the last kits were released, instead of having us wait 3 1/2 months, only for them to tell us it’s not happening 🤦🏻‍♂️

I think if they DO third kits, i dont think theyre gonna add any new main weapons kits its just gonna be returning toni kensa and sheldon picks and maybeee 2 stringers and splatanas will get a new kit as well 😭

for me the lack of third kits is only really a problem out of principle. Like it is disappointing that nintendo managed to regress in an area that they weren't doing enough in to begin with But honestly i've never been that hyped on new content, i just turn on the game and play. Back in S2 i would turn on the game and try to play, but i would get frustrated after only a couple games due to how bad that game felt. Im just glad that S3 feels good right now.

Real. I'm not asking for Dualies and Brellas in Splatoon 1, but custom patches sound VERY doable Squiffer's lack of jump penalty, Shooters' endlag, rapid blasters' explosion damage... those should all be parameters that you can edit

@@ProChara Mod S3 to include S1's versions of maps like Mahi-Mahi Resort and Hammerhead Bridge (and Ancho-V Games, Piranha Pit, Urchin Underpass) and we are in pretty good shape.

Excluding reskins and scoped variants, there are 11 main weapons with Splat Bomb, 11 with Suction Bomb, 7 with Burst Bomb, 7 with Fizzy Bomb, and 6 with Torpedo. IF third kits become a reality, for each of the three latter sub weapons mentioned, which two weapons could make the most use of them? Specifically choose main weapons that… * are currently less used at the top competitive scene * if given the sub weapon in question and a suitable special weapon, could see more use in the top competition My first idea would be to have a Tri-Slosher with Burst Bomb and Big Bubbler. Splatoon 2 veterans know how well Burst Bomb combos with Tri, and a Big Bubbler with a Tri inside would be even scarier than one with a Roller. I am intrigued by a Fizzy Bomb/Inkstorm combination, which appeared on the Kensa Luna but would make more sense on a zoning weapon. If a third Douser Dualies kit had this, it would not supplant the Custom kit of Burst Bombs/Triple Inkstrike, but might make a decent alternative if another Tri-Strikes user were already present.

As a person who played *a lot* of tri slosher nouveau before its points of special got nerved, I must admit that burst and bubbler would be a wonderful kit...now I'm even more depressed that it wont happen :,)

I’m wondering if we’ll even see a splatoon game release on the 1st of the switch’s successor, like splatoon 2 did. Animal crossing new horizons (made by the same team) obliterated splatoon 2 in sales even if it was due to coincidental timing. If Nintendo is forced to choose one for the start of the console’s life, chances are they’ll pick animal crossing, especially because splatoon 3 was more recent.

@@patrickserrats6919 they’re made by the same team. When splatoon 2 wrapped up, they got to work on animal crossing new horizons, and when that wrapped up, they started working on splatoon 3.
