There is no harm or mistake in helping our children .. yes we teach them to be tidy , but we all know it becomes over whelming sometimes and it’s nice to see how happy it makes them … My daughter cleaned and tidied her 3 year olds bedroom while he was at nursery… when he came in he went to his bedroom , turned smiled and said thank you .. and that made her day ..

I just love the ‘post Shari statement ´videos.! You have allowed your kids to just be….kids! Also very nice to see the way a ´normal’ house looks like after the holidays with 5 very much alive children. Plus I would think it’s very ´normal’ for a mother to help clean her children’s rooms. They are not in the military and are still very young. I only wish many family vloggers followed your example… Bravo to you and all the best to your family in the coming year!

I give my kids chores bjt also help then out too. I love to serve them and show I love them by giving them a break. My kkds have zones and on weekends I do the majority of their zones but during the week (we homeschool) they do their zones. It has worked out great.

Hi Julie omg you guys got a lot of snow how fun 😊 we got some here in Texas and had 2 snow days . I have 4 dogs after raising 5 they left me there pets . I love them but it’s really like having toddlers and my husband says I guess we’re never getting any other pets lol .

I used to go into my sons bedroom. I have three boys. The oldest had his own room. Although sometimes they wanted to swap. Once a month, I would go into both rooms. Get the boys involved. Do a thorough clean. My boys would do their part. Sorting out toys to put in to charity shops. If the toys were falling apart they would be in a pile for the bin. Unless they were sentimental. A few teddy s were . The boys loved it. I would find toys right under their beds that they had forgotten all about. I found other things under the bed . Dirty washing. 🙄🤔Yuck!! Anyway it would take most of the day .At least I knew it was clean. Not just tidy. They would of course. keep it as tidy as they could. Bless them. They would have other chores to do as well. We love the Little House books, we are currently on The Banks of Plum Creek. We read it 2 chapters a night as a family before bed. You should have all your kids read it; Farmer Boy would be fun for your boys. I will have to look into the others you suggested.

Redirect with a puppy dog toy for chewing. It worked for our dog. They need to chew and lots of chew options. Costco often has a few cheaper options. Also you can get a big beef bone that they likely can’t chew through and pig hoofs. Ensure you monitor they can’t break it open. Cause then you want to toss. Buy often I reuse the beef bone and refill with peanut butter.

Julie, get Finn a bully stick to chew on instead. Puppies need to chew. My puppies started chewing on my table legs too, but bully sticks help a lot. M8st importantly, remember to throw it away before it gets small enough for him to swallow.
