Still kinda a weird house, but now clean, useable is livable . I am sure the neighbors are happy with how it is now. So much improvement and hopefully a family moves in and is able to make it theirs.

Well, Mark, talk about climbing every mountain! I was thinking this house would never get done. You really took the eyesore of the neighborhood and gave life back to it. I really hope that a family will buy it, appreciate it and take care of it. Fix up the yard and make it a real home. I’m sure all of the neighbors on that cul-de-sac are just thrilled. I’m sure this cost you a huge amount of money given the deplorable infrastructure conditions you had to deal with. it looks great and I wish you luck so let us know who buys it and how that all goes. Look forward to seeing all the numbers.
@shelleyzaragoza219511 ай бұрын
The neighbors are happy to see the house was sold and to have new neighbors soon. You made the hoarder house a place for a new family to be happy to call home. The downstairs bathroom is big and would be used for a master bedroom.

Your project manager Nikki definitely called this one: she could see the final tally in time and money and predict it would likely lose money and have many setbacks. I know that its not spring time, but that yard and landscaping has zero curb appeal. God bless you for taking on this challenge just because you were bored!

Looks very nice and a family could really appreciate a home like this. I do have a few concerns like not having a vent above the stove and no gfcs shock preventing outlets near the sinks in the kitchen or bathrooms. However, this is 100 percent better than what it was!
@Channel-cm7yc11 ай бұрын
The microwave is your range hood. They do not have to vent outside. GFCI’s can also be done at the electrical panel and I quite prefer that as the outlets fail quite regularly I’ve found. I found in my own home that people were doubling the GFCI protection on the same circuit with a point of use GFCI as outlets, when they already had it in the panel as part of the circuit breaker itself, let’s just say if a homeowner doesn’t know what they are doing and most don’t, you can create a bad situation where you will burn out said GFCI outlet devices and not know why. So it creates confusion. One or the other, but don’t ever double on a GFCI protected circuit. In general I always say get an electrician if you know what the heck you are doing!!! Homeowners do crazy stuff and this house proves that in spades OMG!!

That is amazing. Before I wouldn't have walked into that house. It was horrifying. Now I'd live there. I didn't know how you'd fix all the stuff that was jerryrigged. That is so satisfying to see! That house is very lucky you came along and the future owners are lucky too. Texture on the walls has been common in Florida. Usually it's what is called orange peel or some places have what's called Spanish lace. But I think the trend now is to have no texture on the walls or ceilings. And my home has stupid popcorn ceilings and I have cathedral ceilings in the main living area and vaulted ceilings in the bedrooms. So removing it would be a nightmare.

The audacity is palpable. You are making "hoarding" your clickbait title when you are hoarding.... 100... 200.... How many properties are you hoarding these days? I lost count after 200 because you call others needing a place to stay "doors" as if they are an action figure collection.
